Kingshill 230 Report post Posted December 15, 2019 Hi All About to build a loading ramp..... Looking for any common dimensions to go by? Going to have closed in sides. Main thing I guess will be getting the width to suit most common back loading trucks..... Any tips appreciated.
Dopey 209 Report post Posted December 16, 2019 Measure your own / most likely contract mover truck door and make it slightly wider for parking error, and also for its height. consider how both side and rear loaders can use it consider a rise then flat rather than continuous up hill hmmm.... consider an L shape when the horses walk around a corner as well... Leggy 4,007 Report post Posted December 16, 2019 I'd ring a freight company or two like Majestic for a recommendation and/or get down to your local track in the morning or on a raceday and head to the float park with your tape measure.
