The JCA ruled he didn't get a fair start so why doesn't the starter get a penalty for not calling a false start - P Lamb you are past it, please step down and give someone else a chance. Surely they wouldn't make as many F ups as you. Next month is NZ cup and we can expect another shambles of a start I imagine.

Stewards delayed the all clear and questioned driver M Purdon regarding this incident and whether that interference had materially prejudiced his chances (finished 3rd). After hearing the evidence from Mr Purdon and Starter Mr P Lamb, Stewards requested a ruling from the JCA who determined that the runner had not been denied a fair start with stakes and dividends paid accordingly.

With Cup week approaching the Lamb wil no doubt give you some more ammo re his starting abilty. The Cup start will be a shambles as usual

what a joke as a starter and having the support of his cronies.It sad really as the punters  usually suffer as well as owners.No wonder there are less and less owners (hardly enough foals born now to maintain harness racing) Should have been stood down until at least after cup week. My punting group saw the race and we all said "bet Lamb gets away with his incompetence".(as he always does !)
