Berri 2,131 Report post Posted October 19, 2019 So the Champions meeting was traditionally held at Newmarket. That track is on chaulky ground so the drainage is quite good. The placement of the meeting was also put back so as not to conflict with the Arc. The result is that the Champions meeting is now held slightly later so worse weather. So the twats over in Blighty shifted the meeting from Newmarket to Ascot. They used the normal track a couple of weeks ago when the conditions were heavy. It continued to rain and screwed the track further. So they had to run the races on the inside jumping track. What a joke...
