Ohokaman 5,763 Report post Posted October 19, 2019 Interested to see how Royal Meeting goes...unbeaten French horse in R8. Has had a wind operation and not raced for a while but must be here aimed at something you would think. Best form wins this. Don't give him to the French OM , the poms need all they can get from French with all the brexit stuff , he's a pom who went over and beat the French . Kicked off like some of the best at seaside Great Yarmouth , racing , beer and a stick of rock .A class above these lot but might battle at 1400. He's in the big mile race a Flemington . Us Poms are more confused than normal at moment not sure who we are anymore so clutching at any success , yeah looked typical late season French track but good horses behind .A few winners out the maiden win too. Layoff probably ok but 1400 , firm track might not be his thing .

' 'A combined $4.7 million was bet on Caulfield Cup 12 months ago with close to $3 million on the Victorian tote and $1.75 million in NSW. That combined figure was down to $3.3 million in 2019 with $2.14 million in Victoria and $1.17 million bet across the border. The Caulfield Cup pool continues to hold more money than The Everest in total with $2.93 million on Sydney’s spring jewel in 2019. NSW punters wagered $1.88 million on The Everest while $1.05 million was bet in Victoria on a massive day of racing across the two states.'-RNet. pogo(aus) 827 Report post Posted October 19, 2019 No ! you are just using a metric thats totally irrelevant and skewed to support your argument. not surprising though, most people resist change. look at nz racing , same old, play it again Sam. arjay

pogo(aus) 827 Report post Posted October 19, 2019 Within 3 years the race has everyone either applauding the concept or whinging about it because they feel threatened. any neutral or fair minded person would recognise that. but you throw up turnover as a measure.
