Baz (NZ) 1,722 Report post Posted September 1, 2019 Very good as usual Ted. Great Atmosphere, Music, Beer, Good Food & Sunshine. A rarity at race meetings these days. Te Aroha could teach a few of these bigger Clubs a lesson or two about the hospitality trade! I've been to a few Te Rapa meetings of late...and its a complete hole compared. I was with a prominent owner at the last Te Rapa meeting and she couldn't even get a tub of hot chips. Nothing on course! The previous meeting they ran out of some brands of beer then ran out of premix Bourbon Colas...of course they don't have spirits there anymore. I'll be at Ellerslie next week for Great Northern Day but book me in for the Te Aroha Meeting on the 29th September it'll be a big day! rdytdy and army 1

Gee, I would have thought that along with Lion Red, Woodstock would be the number one drink in Hamilton. Baz (NZ)
