Gruff 2,800 Report post Posted August 31, 2019 Had to like Charlie’s call to Des this morning, I personally think they are a must, On course you spend most of your time either in the grandstand or around the parade ring or birdcage , I would of thought having a constant visual ,particularly to see market movers is very necessary ? It’s akin to driving a car without a speedo Shad and ivanthegreat
voice of reason 91 Report post Posted September 1, 2019 just like a judges call is a fundamental requirement for punters ...apparantly not according to trackside. Insider
Shad 1,558 Report post Posted September 1, 2019 Agree, great to see the odd meeting, where they still have the riders displayed on the infield board, in saying that can't be many. The punter needs everything at their disposal, instead of everyone huddled around a TV screen. Gruff 2,800 Report post Posted September 5, 2019 No infield indicator at Pukekohe or New Plymouth, Relying on a few monitors over the tab machine doesn’t help serious on course patrons, even if it seems the numbers don’t necessitate it .
