TimTimTimbo 227 Report post Posted August 3, 2019 The weather is better than expected and in spite of the Hambo being raced in heats. I expect Greeshoe (if on best behaviour) to go blow away the track record and possibly the World Record. If he has an easy go of it in his heat, I would think Sears will let him loose. Muscle Hill was a champion but this horse, when it comes to speed has an extra gear. I am telling you right now that this horse can trot a quarter in 25 seconds on his ear. Later on in the year in Kentucky where the track is a speedway, he will go better than 1:48 which is unheard of, of course but he is that good. Here is a link to the live video for those that don't know or have the link http://www.thebigm.com/video.aspx?id=
TimTimTimbo 227 Report post Posted August 3, 2019 Lather up wins the FFA in 1.59.2 for 1 mile and 1/8th. Pretty quick Eh? LOL
TimTimTimbo 227 Report post Posted August 3, 2019 Dexter qualifies for Hambo with a flying finish for 3rd with Soul Strong. Was actually the best horse but flew too late The Swedes sure now how to train a trotter. None better IMO Amazing that Green Manalishi went off at 9-1 as Melander said he has been getting much, much better of late. Gimpanzee for an undefeated horse went very average. I can see why they kept this horse away from Greenshoe because he would beat him by 10 legnths.

TimTimTimbo 227 Report post Posted August 3, 2019 Spur ran a good race, got back a little and had to come 4 wide. He will improve on that.
TimTimTimbo 227 Report post Posted August 3, 2019 I am hoping Greenshoe stays flat because there is nothing that is going to get near him. They went 1:50.3 in 1st heat Ake Swanstedt already said he is going to the front with Marseille so they may break 1:50 in this heat
Iraklis 2,203 Report post Posted August 3, 2019 Greenshoe jogged it mate sweet azzzzz corr he got some wheels that one, yeh fingers crossed for me Spur he'll come to it he's tough so one good draw oughta do it..... TimTimTimbo 227 Report post Posted August 3, 2019 Greenshoe makes Muscle Hill look like a maiden. IMO, he can only beat himself and the way he won that, he is going to turn him loose down the back in the final and win by at least 8 and 1:49 is in the bag and some. TimTimTimbo 227 Report post Posted August 3, 2019 Well I'll be effed. The Canadian Horse Forbidden Trade wins it and I cannot believe Greeshoe was beaten. Not good enough at end but that was a bad drive. should have given him his head and taken a chance. Bit rough at the start and then sat way too long Iraklis

Blue 1,080 Report post Posted August 3, 2019 Is it the tracks, evolving type of horse or training methods that are producing these times? Very soon 1,50 will become the benchmark but it's not only your grand circuit horses, babies are running incredible times too, both pacers and trotters. Exciting stuff. And yet if a pacer runs sub 2minutes here they are Black Type. How long before this is changed. It’s just ridiculous.

Might qualify in 2,50 but if they cant run 2,43 or better they might as well be trekking ponies.
