Gruff 2,790 Report post Posted June 20, 2019 Interesting to see such a heavy bias towards the inside section all day , and low and behold the apprentice stays there in the last when everyone else was looking to get out, well done Lesley and Kavish you paid attention and got the choccies
Basil brush 193 Report post Posted June 20, 2019 Mark Sardonia down as a next upper.I'll bet a normally very reliable Jockey in Craig Grylls would like that ride back again. Gruff
Gruff 2,790 Report post Posted June 20, 2019 I’ve been marking down black bookers and impressive trialists for months Basil ,but by the time they race again they look like different horses. The Rotorua bias threw out nothing but dogshit, unlucky runners from Matamata and Te Rapa all failed next time, the only horse that looked progressive in early trials who performed was One Madison at Te teko ,but her trial before was very misleading although not unseen as a sneaky . I will watch Sardonia with interest .... Interesting to see Ryan Elliot booked for Suliman at Tauranga Saturday, the last time Sam Collett hopped off she rode Roger that to an impressive victory at Pukekohe, while Lammas couldn’t get an ounce out of The Project(Suliman) ? Touch of silver beat Suliman with Trudy on by half the length of the straight in the intermediate race prior to the Cup last year , yet Sulimans 2nd place time was quicker than the Cup winners, Touch of silver has never raced well again since and Vinnie colgan hasn’t ridden the horse again after that win??? Tough game Basil brush
