Double suspension gallop.

When in full flight a greyhound spends more time off the ground than on it. So when people call them flying machines they are not far wrong. Definitely a gait for speed but not endurance.

I think you'll find on closer inspection those bandages are on both front feet Eyespy...you should have spotted that with your name.

I wouldn't claim to be an expert but I would suspect they are there to provide 'support' for the metacarpal bones etc.

Same bandaging that we see some trainers do almost religiously here in NZ, I think for some it's become habit or 'mind over matter' more than anything else.
