Grego 44 Report post Posted May 20, 2019 I played footy on Saturday not far from the course and the ground was like concrete. I would say they would of had to of put some water on.

They should build a brand new decent sized track and transfer all the Classics there. Almost a perfect track will be available 9 months of the year. Not far for the Waikato horses to travel or the CD for that matter Don’t worry about on course crowds as few turn up to Auckland or Te Rapa these days, plus it’s all about off track betting isn’t it? arjay 447 Report post Posted May 21, 2019 A dead 4 produced, good for the time of year. I doubt many will object to this surface.
weasel57 429 Report post Posted May 21, 2019 is someone's provincial bias showing here? I recall a furore not many years ago when a Group 1 in the Spring was unable to be raced on that track, meeting abandoned...safety issues. Plenty of Waikato trainers seem happy probably a better trip than going up to Ruakaka
