Darwin to Tennent Creek. 988kms of glorious road past mighty termite mounds and FA else. There at Tennent Creek this weekend they will run through the dust on the dirt track on Tennent Creek Cup day for 18k minimum stake races. Even an old duffer like Wawrinka (NZ) goes round in an 18k race. Hasn't added to his one NZ win while in dustbowl central. TC Cup 25k. I WONDER IF HIS ONE ONLY NZ WIN HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE TRAINERS RUNNING THE POOR BUGGERS LEGS OFF HIM TOO SOON?

No I dont think so Darwin July to august races are brilliant as good as anything on the east coast .Huge crowds so get there early or upgrade to members .Camp grounds are just out of town but we always catch buses.Parap pub is a short walk from races and has a huge tab also has strippers at lunch time just to get your day off to a good start. 25 minutes ago, Red Rum said: Do you know if Fannie Bay is a good place to park up for the night ?
