Very sad to read that he was injured and put down in a Trial in Aussie today. What a wonderful horse.My thoughts to Emma Browne and David.

I Just refreshed my memory of him and looked at his race record.

38 starts  8 wins  and always so game.

Monarch Chimes won the Hawks Bay Hurdles on the 30th June last year.

Three weeks later he popped up in a  rating 64 at Sandown . J Childs rode. 2400m.
