Jen with a well timed run that started as we headed into the final turn proved too strong sweeping past with a few to go and leaving us all to try and run her down, and as forecasted by Houlahan's Dream, it is not an easy task when she's got her ears pinned back     Well done to Jack, Koriokaramea and richie who each shuffled around at the top and proved very consistent over the day.   It seems that these previous stage winners have now recovered from their recent efforts and are starting to be very competitive again - I note HD there in the finishing pack also.

Congratulations Jenlove !!     who takes the yellow shirt for the second time in the Tour.

Great effort by Jenlove again, a quality filly/mare and perhaps another Melody belle in the making. True grit at the finish to hold off the wall of challengers. Must be odds-on for the title now with the big fields we're getting.  I am now out to 200-to-one. Thanks to Chestnut (and Ponderosa) for a great competition.

I'm not in the running for 1st spot but at least I picked Ball of Muscle to beat Redzel! However, I do believe I scored far more points $ than I have been credited for. Maybe others also? For the sake of transparency u might like to just check my total ( I think it's called an audit). My calculations put me a bit higher but being human - I may be mistaken... Yes it is called an audit and Im doing one today.  As you can imagine I was a little numbered out yesterday.    Apologies to anyone who has a wrong total and it will be fixed today if that is the case.

Between us we had 3 of the first 4, mine SoSi Bon was a breath away from the dividend payers. We should be colluding!

Spare a thought for stand in jock Corey Brown on Avilius, maybe Winx called for a face to face meeting with Hughie in Sydney (lol)  Hope all is well there though, Hughie seems a top bloke.

• Trump added 64 for Ball of Muscle - apologies for that, I had the beautiful boy as my BB and he's one of my faves so I got a bit excited and must have been too eager to post results.

Interesting comments from some posters re the Aust Cup result. Some on Harlem, some on So Si Bon etc and all the “what if’s” after the race! How about my luck (all bad). I had Shillelagh to win and had boxed Harlem, Trap for Fools, So Si Bon, Avilius, Ace High & Rekindling for 2nd, 3rd & 4th ! Shillelagh beaten a nose after being in front 50 metres out! F4 pays $170,000 and change !!   :(

I thought Shillelagh had it won, turned my attention to those running on and didn’t notice Harlem had come again. Any jockey other than J Kah rubbing Harlem between the ears and you had a huge result, bad luck.

BoM's a beaut old boy isn't he, just gutses it out in every race and he's beaten some good horses over the last couple of years (Voodoo Lad, Brave Smash, Invincible Star, Spirit of Valor and now Redzel) but still manages to pay decent money.   

He doesn't like finishing second in trials either it seems
