MC Hammer had a decent horse called Dance Floor , who I think ended up here at stud , Burt Bacharach had Soul of the Matter , Errol Brown of Hot Chocolate had a top jumper called Gainsay back in the day so wait till Snoop Dog gets one and names it , although he's gone all mainstream I think . Made his money and moved outta the hood. Rusty and crustyngrizzly 1
crustyngrizzly 1,700 Report post Posted March 5, 2019 David Cassidy raced a lot of horses including the G11 winner Sweet Vendetta. He also raised thousands of dollars for thoroughbred in retirement. Raced horses for over 30 years. Don't know how good Dance Floor did at stud but i seem to recall a couple of his daughters leaving good ones. I saw Davy Jones ride in a private sweepstake in early eighties at Sandown , I'd have to dig out the old race card as iam sure a few other celebs rode in it , full betting race though so was no pissing about joke .He was a tidy amateur jockey but he did have a headstart as he was little and was an apprentice before he found fame with Monkees . There must be a horse called " Daydream Believer " !!! . Isn't that the very reason the whole game exists. crustyngrizzly
