Black Kirrama 1,478 Report post Posted February 21, 2019 ENDLESS DRAMA epitomises the state of our wonderful Thoroughbred racing don't you think ? Think about todays Informant Front Page The Waikato RC decides they know better and withdraw from Green Fields discussions. What is that about ? I quote from The Informant ,Bruce Sherwin "The Cambridge JC is surprised by the Waikato RC actions at such an early stage in the process -Before even commencing the Business Case ". Self interest from The Waikato Racing Club.Maybe. A similar scenario happened with the CJC and the decision to buy their own land when they came to loggerheads with The WRC. In 1960 the CJC committee and members bought 50 Acres in Hannon Road.Probably at favourable terms from Richie Hannon. The intension was probably to conduct race meetings. The WRC increased their race day rentals. Fact. Bob Morris and other committee members at that time bought an additional 100 acres in about 1976 ? Paid about half a million or less. Later ( during my time ) bought Ian Alton's five acres with a horse pool. The CJC Management's vision at that time was Trials and Training barns. Not Race meetings. More money could be gleaned from Trials and Training fees than owning a Race Course. Policy ...Put the dollars earned back into Stakes. Thirty years later ? Make up your own mind. More useless Endless Drama that the unilateral thinking George Vercoe the WRC founder would be absolutely appalled. So... Endless Drama Has he ever raced left handed ? He has been placed second in 10 starts at Group One Level. Rating 105 Endless Drama won the 2018 Apollo Stakes ( 52 weeks ago) when Uncle Hugh was suspended and the Winx team decided not to go there. He could well be the first Stallion/ Entire to salute The Judge in R7 . The Haunui WFA.

He won't be the first stallion/entire to win the race. (I am assuming you are excluding the colts that have won the race) Westminster won the race as an entire in 1990. Very interesting re the Greenfields Project now.

Ran in Lockinge at Newbury left handed course also but that race down straight mile . Black Kirrama
Black Kirrama 1,478 Report post Posted February 21, 2019 My actual dig was how can Endless Drama possibly beat Volpe Veloce, Melody Belle, Supera, Consensus to the finishing line !!?? Or in deed the geldings Bostonian, More Wonder and Shadows Cast. So the competition for the first Entire home in the Group One is just between Endless Drama and Wyndspelle . Thanks Red Rum for the English information about Endless Drama. He is obviously a very good horse, great Trainer, but poor win rate. 8FF is disgusting. Who knows he could go back to The Race Sponsor's paddock should he win !!

Within length of Gleneagles in Irish Guineas ,and was never winning those races against Winx or Tepin for that matter . Lyons resorted to handicap race in end at Naas.. Looks bit past best and won't have any my money on him. Black Kirrama
rosie one 177 Report post Posted February 23, 2019 Endless drama appears to have some issues. Did not look right when the pressure went. Hope he's ok. Congrats to the winner. Black Kirrama
WOODBINE 88 Report post Posted March 2, 2019 There is a good case for all three Racing clubs to merge and create one large and appropriate racetrack As a long standing member and former director of the WRC I’m disappointed at my club’s yo-yo approach to this outstanding opportunity ADM and Black Kirrama 1
