Let's take a tour around some great summer racing being held in Australia and New Zealand this Saturday  

The Australasian Saturday of Racing Comp  -  Saturday, 2 February

1.       New Plym R4 : 2.10pm :  Woburn Farm Classic  2YO SW 1200m

2.       New Plym R5 : 2.45pm : Platinum Homes Taranaki Summer Challenge : SP COND 1400m

3.       Wingatui R6 : 3.39pm : Fire & Mechanical Contracting Ltd Dunedin Gold : OPN HCP 2400m

4.       Wingatui R7 : 4.14pm : Steve Anderton Memorial Trophy : Rating 65 1200m

5.       Wingatui R8 : 4.49pm : White Robe Lodge Weight for Age : 1600m

6.       Rosehill R6 : 5.50pm : Expressway Stakes : 1200m

7.       Caulfield R7 : 6.10pm : Polytrack W.J. Adams Stakes : 1000m

8.       Caulfield R8 : 6.50pm : Manfred Stakes : 1200m

9.       Caulfield R9 : 7.30pm : Mal Seccull Handicap : Rating 84 1400m

10.   Morphettville R8 : 8.20pm : TAB Handicap Rating 64 : 1250m

11.   Eagle Farm R9 : 8.40pm : Kirin Handicap Class 6 : 1300m

 

Rules:

1.       Select TWO horses in each race.

2.       $5 a win will be placed on each.

3.       Select TWO Best Bet races (at any meeting) and any winnings from those races will be doubled.

4.       Select TWO Quinella races (at any meeting but they cannot be the same races as your Best Bets) and a $5 Quinella will be placed on your two selections in those races.

5.       The winner will be the competitor who has the highest dollar total after the last race.  If there is a tie, then countback will be the most winners over the day, and if still tied, then the most BBs and Quins that were successful.

6.       Selections should be posted in Competition race order (that is how I will record them) with the numbers of your two selections.   You can add names if you want to, but I don’t need these and if your number and name of horse don’t match, I will use the number.

7.       Your Best Bets and Quinellas must be on different races.  If you use a BB and Quin on the same race I will include the Quinella and disregard the BB.

8.       If any races do not take place due to postponement or cancellation, and it is your Quinella or BB race then this will move to the next race where you don’t have a Quinella or BB.

9.       Comp closes at 2.00pm – 10 minutes before the scheduled first race start time.

10.   Scratching replacements can be made up until 1.30pm and these should be done using a new post so that I can be sure to see them  not as young as I once was  

11.   and most importantly ..... Have fun !
