Franco Ice 36 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 Can someone please explain what happens when your FO's bet is a late scratching. An elderly neighbour backed Troup Road when he was scratched at the barrier the other day. He said his bet got transferred to another horse, I'm guessing it was the FO favourite. Seems strange. I thought it was a refund scenario.
Grego 44 Report post Posted January 20, 2019 You should get a full refund
chiknsmack 466 Report post Posted January 20, 2019 FF win and place bets are refunded if scratched. That's why there are deductions from FF prices when there are any scratchings after you placed the bet. FO (futures, non-final field) win and place bets have no refunds for scratchings (they are "All-In" markets). A win or place bet wouldn't be switched to another horse. It's could be a weird screwup in the new system, or more likely a weird screwup by your neighbour trying to figure out the new system and backing the wrong horse. Baz (NZ) 1,719 Report post Posted January 24, 2019 Last night I got carried away and placed hundreds of multis at Ellerslie on Saturday! If one of these selections is scratched does that leg get cancelled and my multi reduced by a leg?
