Jape 344 Report post Posted January 18, 2019 I was very saddened to hear of the death of Ron Todd who died on Wednesday night Ron was a member of the Opawa Racing Syndicate along with Graeme Camobell and Robin Wales. They must rank very highly as one of NZ's most successful greyhound owning partnerships. Ron was not one to seek the limelight but I found him a very cheerful fellow who could be seen occasionally at Addington Raceway on the big occasions. Ron was a handy lawn bowler and and a highly respected administrator at the Canterbury Bowling Club where he was the club's treasurer. Rest in Peace, Ron.
