TimTimTimbo 227 Report post Posted January 13, 2019 Just won 4 tonight at Meadowlands. Many are commenting how he is improving with his driving and it is showing. IMO,. the best driver here is David Miller. He wins a lot of big races and put him on a trotter and he is a magician with them. Really cool head on his shoulders. I think he drove a few winners down there. Anyway, Dexter is going to get better and better and he can make some serious money when the trainers put him on their good horses. He's winning on long shots and paying good prices. Iraklis
lamour 662 Report post Posted January 13, 2019 I noticed he is getting full books of drives now. Will be earning much more than he would here in NZ. Will need it of course with some hefty legal bills to come I imagine. Hope he eventually comes back here as we miss him. lamour 662 Report post Posted January 13, 2019 Do you know what percentage of the winning stake drivers earn TT Timbo? Do drivers get paid for losing drives over there?

If he drives some of those stakes races during the peak of the season.l Right now the Meadowlands has average horses there. The state of New Jersey just approved like 6 million dollars to go towards the races at Meadowlands. The other tracks in New York and Pennsylvania have casinos making the races worth a lot more. If he stayed a full season here he would make a shitload of money 5 percent of some 500,000 and million dollar races nothing to sneeze at. During the Grand Circuit racing there ar race after race worth 100,000, 200,000 and much bigger.

TimTimTimbo 227 Report post Posted January 13, 2019 He probably made 2 grand for his drives tonight at least. This time next year with bigger increases it would be at least 3,000 When he picks up some Grand Circuit horses and wins, he could take home 30,000 to 50,000 US if he wins a couple on any given night
lamour 662 Report post Posted January 13, 2019 Thanks for the update and info TTT. Keep an eye out for a horse I had a share in that should be starting in the states in the next few months. Bettor Joy. Dexter drove her here & she won 300k for the ownership group. Cheers
