Chap tipped me the quinellas in the first 2 races. He made a deposit last night via direct bank transfer. should have taken 15 minutes but come 1.00pm today still hadn't shown in his account and the 2 quinellas came in. The explanation from TAB. "They put it in the wrong column" like debit instead of credit.

TAB could have purchased an existing fixed odds site for peanuts and just developed a tote site ensuring the 2 are properly linked.

Judging by the front end problems hate to think whats occurring at the back end

The one word that comes up repeatedly is ERROR. I have worked out to see the races but can't put a bet on. At least I am not losing money.

Yes, but you have better streaming and form as well as saving money, though I'm not sure what they think is better about the form.

Anyone know of a streaming option for Trackside 1 and 2 other than through the TAB site? The TAB feeds have been super glitchy for me since the 'upgrade'. I'm assuming Trackside isn't available through SKY GO?

Easy enough to find. Click best bets on the right hand side and a new PDF webpage will open with more form than previous.

It will be because its in a higher resolution and either you PC can't handle it or your internet speed is too slow.

"Best Bets"? WTF! What a total misnomer for relevant information. Best Bets implies some sort of trove of knowledge from Pops, Sweens or the Shark.

My only complaint is the form guides, no trial form showing. It appears to be an area they have failed on,I actually thought this would have been an area they would have improved on and added links to previous starts and trial form.

Yes that's exactly the reason I hadn't bothered to click on that icon... But looking at what it actually does, that's going to be my best friend I reckon.

When you click on a race and then Expand All, you get to see the horses starts for Left and Right Hand tracks, but also when you click on the JOCKEY tab, it brings up every ride for that jockey at the meeting so will be back to taking Jockey Challenges now.

Well "Root my Boot"!--who would have thought "Best Bets" encompassed those fields! I would have thought something like"Performance" would have been a more apt guide to the information behind that icon. Now what about horse ownership. What field is that in? I just like to know what jockey Peter Vela and other heavy hitters have in the ownership of their horses etc.

To find the OWNERS names, yes that's under the BEST BETS tab also.!!!

Pick the race number and then hit the EXPAND ALL button over on the right hand side and it will bring up the stats of the horse, then directly below the stats is the OWNER(s).

My pet hate with the form guides is the obsession with converting Australia dollars into NZ dollars for everything. Who gives a f--k, do they think they are halfwits? And when a horse has raced in an NZ race they change the NZ stake as well, even though it was correct to start with.

Same place for owners but I agree that is a peculiar descriptor for form or performance imo. Never even occurred to me to click it.

If you go to the PDF files and click on easy form they are there. Maybe an index on how to navigate the new site would be helpful.If  you want people to bet surely you’d make it user friendly.

Was just sorting out a few horses for Happy Valley tonight and could only bet Race 1 with the rest of the meeting "abandoned" In other words we need to shut down early to go sort the new system. Stuff me, I was pissed off with no Hong Kong on Sunday and now they have done it again

I,ve got a few gripes with new site . No owners names under each horse or previous trainers. Cant seem to print your bets like previously. Multis are a mystery ,I do % multis, seems a lot harder than before.Also cant get into the website from my mobile phone. Hopefully just teething problems .

Click All Form which gives you individual runner details. Then search recent races for runner if needed.

The expanded form button gives me a blank page....

I don't know why anyone would use the TAB website to do the form for NZ gallops. The NZTR website is vastly superior in that regard.
