Would today's edition be the worst ever published sports newswise since the publication started back in the 1880's or thereabouts?       The are no scores for any matches (apart from 4 tennis games) anywhere in the paper except as part of the so called reports.     Even the "Results at a glance" column is missing!      I really feel robbed of $3.20 which I paid to read sports results not to get a load of overseas "old stuff"  uninteresting magazine rubbish.    Unfortunately I cannot even raid an "honesty box" tomorrow as these have been done away with and I wouldn't nab a copy from the local vendor as it would be robbing an innocent party.     So I have only one form of redress (after all I got from a phone call was a blunt "so what") is simply to not buy a copy in future and if there is anything I particularly want to read I'll go and have a coffee at the local cafe and read it there.

I'm old fashioned.   Like to relax in a comfy chair with my cuppa and cornflakes with the paper.     Bugger peering into a screen.

Newspapers are deliverers of bad news. Road trauma, rape, bashing’s, robbery, crime and misery, floods, earthquakes, tsunami, death and destruction etc etc. why would you bother reading that crap to start your day on such a negative plane? I spent the day (about 5 hours at the beach yesterday. Beautiful day, water crystal clear and 25degrees, lots of swims, reading a book (Jonathan Thurston) and having a home made sandwich etc. great! But if I look at the newspaper it will read “thousands stung by blue bottles”!! Don’t read newspapers.

Watch your melanoma Trumpie :rcf-sad-6:

No sweat. Two umbrellas and Slip,Slop, Slap. Seen enough wrinkled bronzed blondes (the female type) to know what too much sun does. Just had a full body check by a Skin Cancer Specialist. All clear - must be the bit of Maori blood helping me!
