crustyngrizzly 1,702 Report post Posted November 18, 2018 Guest on TV3 this morning virtually said that these socalled super foods are all super hyped. Great marketing was mentioned. Example is Kale. Ranked 15th for protien and nutrients. Water cress and plain lettuce were ranked well above.
Pam Robson 1,551 Report post Posted November 19, 2018 Yep. Not that there is anything wrong with eating kale....but our former hunter- gatherer selves just had plenty of variety and ate unmodified plants.
Uriah Heap 481 Report post Posted November 19, 2018 I've never tried kale, but blueberries are nice. I always thought they were good for me. Don't tell me they're dissing blueberries?

Don't tell me they're dissing blueberries? No expert on healthy food that is for sure but from what i've read, chokeberry, black currant and elderberry have far greater health benefits than blue berries.Thats not to say blueberries aren't healthy for you because they are. I myself prefer the the $13 meal deal at the local fish and chip shop. Pam Robson and Basil brush 1
