chelseacol 2,488 Report post Posted November 9, 2018 Yep heavy 10 - not sure how it deteriorated from slow 7 at 4pm as I think damage had been done prior to that. Sunny day but too cold for it to improve too much you would think. Start of a great week !

Shad 1,539 Report post Posted November 9, 2018 Looking forward to the staying race, and how some handle the conditions, may not be to much of a guide to the cup, given if the weather is fine for the rest of the week and the track drys out. Although related, there is a difference between a wine and a win. Good luck with Felaar, tony
Blue 1,080 Report post Posted November 9, 2018 46 minutes ago, poundforpound said: Not sure it’s that bad. I walked the entire track this morning. It’s a dead 5 from the crossing to the 1000 then about an 8 across the top with some significant chipping out from the chute crossing on to the home turn then right through to the wining post. The mid to wide track ( in the straight ) is awful but there are lanes in the inner middle area that look as though they’ll offer reasonable footing as the day evolves. Another local told me theres no way it's a heavy 10. Still 3 hours to the first race then 5 more hours to the Metrop so I guess anything can happen but all will most certainly be revealed in time.
