Tauhei Notts 1,409 Report post Posted September 13, 2018 I saw this horse win a lowly maiden at Wingatui today and was most impressed. I would love to read comments by people more informed than me. Could this horse be a real good thing? He was a $140,000 yearling, bought by Te Akau from the Pencarrow Stud draft.

Certainly not more informed TN , but saw it too, looked very green but won with ton in hand, some poor horses in behind though that I doubt would ever get close to winning .Good to see some nice horses brought down to SI to race. Shad 1,554 Report post Posted September 13, 2018 Certainly won well, never easy to win any race these days, so great start to its career, have to win a few more yet to reward it's owners for the purchase price, with the preparations as well. Then again it's all about the passion for most owners.
