Fantastic Fiji Group 1 Superstar of the Spring Comp

 Begins Saturday September 1st

Prize is 5 nights accommodation, airfares, food and transfers for 2 people at Crusoes Fiji Resort.

Scooby will provide full details of prize.

This is a win/place/quinella/trifecta competition on every Australasian Group 1 race until November 10.

RULES

1. Entry is open to everyone although you must be a Race Cafe member to participate.

2. Each competitor is required to select 3 horses in each comp race. The comp races will comprise every Group 1 in NZ and Australia from Sat Sep 1 until Sat Nov 10 in addition to The Everest.

3. The NZTAB/SuperTAB win and place dividends these 3 horses accrue will be accredited as points to each participant plus any combination of the three horses will represent boxed quinellas and trifectas and if these are struck they also will be credited to your score.

4. You may replace any scratched horses in your original selection only by making a new post on the selection thread (NOT EDITING your original post) up until 1 minute before the first race of that days competition when entries will close. Any late scratching will revert to the TAB sub or if that is one of your other selections then the TAB 2nd fave and so on. Scratchings not replaced will simply reduce your entry for that race.

5. In the event of a tie for 1st place, the competitor who won the most races will be adjudged the winner. If this is tied then the competitor with the most quinellas and then most trifectas will be adjudged the winner.

6. My decision will be final in the event of any dispute.

Yes its the biggest comp ever offered...and great to have the format for the comp come from PJ he has some awesome ideas and this is another one.

As Peter said its open to all RaceCafe members and will run until the last day of the Melbourne Cup carnival. The prize can be taken anytime after that with a few date restrictions when the resort is fully booked.

Good luck everyone I really hope everyone on the site supports this great comp and I am also very appreciative of the prize being given by the recently upgraded and refurbished resort in Fiji Crusoes Retreat... and thanks to our newest team member phillip Quay for arranging this. 

Anyway all the best and thanks to everyone for the continued and growing support of NZ's Premier Racing Site...RaceCafe.

Looks like being a real great comp.... because if you're travelling average and down the low end of the field your might strike a good quinella or decent trifecta to get you back in the running.
