Henry Goldfinch, rode as a jockey from at least 1912 - unsure if during WW1.

 

If you look up the dates of those images & titles in NZ National library, Papers Past Section you can properly ID most of those whose names are missing.

Click on the whole page of the article, not just the column of article as there's often photographs in there.

Like Racing, it's an addiction to venture into that website 😉 🤗

An observation in the 1904 photo of jockeys, note how precisely angled their feet are.

I wonder who disciplined them to stand like that.

 It's a bit like when in the military or navy, to stand as trained.

photo reversed (mirror image)? The pic earlier of jockey 'Goldfinch' has the handwriting reversed ...
