LightsOut 486 Report post Posted August 6, 2018 Toblerone there does seem to be a match with your 'name = The Shark' identity as both Nick Tedeschi and Glen Saville worked at Tom Waterhouse together at the same time so just another job for an Aussie mate. ivanthegreat 1,123 Report post Posted August 7, 2018 On 8/5/2018 at 11:03 AM, ivanthegreat said: The Shark: Best At Forbury Park Harness On Sunday Race 1 2 Pat The Monkey: All but had them beat at Oamaru last Sunday and must surely get rewarded with success soon. Manners are near perfect so you’re going to be on the speed and out of trouble and going close to winning. Selections for Multiples: 2-7-5-4 Result 3 , 6 , 2 ,7 BET NOW Race 2 7 Nanelle Franco: Canterbury visitor who wasn’t bad running fifth on debut behind a pretty smart one at Addington. This field is a whole new ball game, in a positive favour, with nothing like the competition faced in that performance. Should be awfully hard to beat. Selections for Multiples: 7-5-6-1 Result 6 , 4 , 3 , 7 BET NOW Race 3 7 Donegal Carrickfin: Been knocking around against some pretty smart types in recent weeks and should relish the opportunity to take on something a little easier here. Can do work and show fight at the finish so should rise above this field and grab a well-deserved win. Selections for Multiples: 7-5-2-4 Result 5 , 2 , 4 , 3 BET NOW Race 4 1 Nicky Anew: Big run in that truly bizarre races here a few weeks ago when beaten by one that sat just off the speed. Drawn one with Dexter in the bike so going to be in all the right places to snare the elusive maiden win finally. Selections for Multiples: 4-8-3-6 Result 3 , 10 , 9 , 11 BET NOW Race 5 5 Omar Sharif: Loving the Forbury way of life with his last three starts here netting two wins and a second. Steps up in grade a bit this week but on what he’s shown he should still be able to make this race his own. Selections for Multiples: 5-8-6-2 Result 8 , 7 , 5 , 6 BET NOW Race 6 8 Ferrits Sister: There was a fair bit of talk around for this one last time out and the fourth that followed the talk wasn’t too bad. Perhaps building towards something quite worthwhile and even from a wide draw today, the watch is on. Selections for Multiples: 8-9-2-1 Result 5 , 4 , 1 , 9 BET NOW Race 7 2 Bono Hest: Consistent trotter who just keeps running good, honest races. Not world beater, but you wouldn’t mind owning a few like him because he gives you a sight every week. More of the same here again today, maybe far enough forward to snare the victory too. Selections for Multiples: 2-5-10-9 Result 5 , 10 , 2 , 9 BET NOW Race 8 4 Honey Cullen: Led them a merry chase at Oamaru and was only hauled in late in the piece. Hard to see why the tactics won’t be the same again this week and with a clean corner around the final bend they might not haul him in this time. Selections for Multiples: 4-1-8-10 Result 4 , 9 , 1 , 5 BET NOW Best: Nanelle Franco ............. 4thNext: Nicky Anew..................... GPS failedRoughie: Ferrits Sister...............Further back than 4th Yehey hey kids 4 and 20 pies again tonight daddies spent all his money on the trots. ivanthegreat 1,123 Report post Posted August 10, 2018 The Shark: Best At Alex Park Harness On Friday Photo by: Trish Dunell Race 1 1 Great Fantasy: Closed off impressively after receiving a nice trip on debut. Should have benefited greatly from that experience and a similar performance tonight will net another good result. Selections: 1-10-6-9 Result 9 , 1 , 8 , 11 BET NOW Race 2 3 Benson Buys: First starter from the Barry Purdon stable with a bit of a motor judging by his workouts and trial performances. Should be able to make a really positive introduction to racing tonight from his good draw. Selections: 3-5-1-4 Result 3 , 1 , 7, 2.........$1.90 BET NOW Race 3 11 Bar Room Brawl: Joshua Dickie jumps from Geena’s Girl to this one tonight and plenty should be taken from that decision. Two really big runs in last two performances and with manners again tonight he’s right in the fight. Selections: 11-1-10-12 Result 3 , 10 , 1 , 4...... O'h nice one 10th BET NOW Race 4 12 Its Official Babe: Created a huge impression with last start Addington win and subsequently sold following that performance. Looks a horse with a big future and provided the Alexandra Park introduction isn’t too overwhelming, he’ll be a big show here. ONE HORSE RACE ?? .......... NAH Result 9 , 10 , 2 , 1 BET NOW Race 5 3 Feel The Burn: Turned a few heads with really tidy last few hundred metres last time out. That backed up some strong early runs too. Should be ready to get back into the winning groove tonight from what is a good draw to operate from this evening. Selections: 3-1-2-5 Result 4 , 2 , 5 , 1.......... your on fire !! BET NOW Race 6 8 Monaro Mia: Classy trotter at her best, but that’s been missing since her Jewels placing. Might actually be more comfortable at Alexandra Park and can swoop on them late here. Selections: 8-11-5-1 Result 7 , 9 , 5 , 4 ..........ssoooo classy BET NOW Race 7 5 Crackared: Up from Canterbury and the Brendon Hill stable and into a stable that has a strong record of producing them to go close first up. Won’t shirk the challenge and can give this a really good shake. Selections: 5-8-2-11 Result 8 , 11 , 1 , 9 BET NOW Race 8 3 Somethingaboutmary: Not much went right last time out, but gets a good draw tonight to get things back on track. The first two runs back were excellent and a repeat of those could net a similar result tonight. Selections: 3-7-9-2 Result 3 , 7 , 4 , 8......... $3.90 BET NOW Race 9 3 Whitehaven Beach: Been building up really nicely for young trainer at workouts and trials and has always looked a little bit better than just being another horse. Good draw and should be right in this for a long, long way. Selections: 3-8-6-4 Result 8 , 5 , 1 , 3 BET NOW Race 10 2 Zadaka: Hasn’t put a foot wrong in last few performances and flew at them late to just come up short last time out. Small field here should suit and with a good run he’ll be hard to beat. Selections: 2-5-4-1 Result 4 , 5 , 1 , 3...........only 4 runners BET NOW Best: Feel The Burn ............ STILL BURNING OUCH !!! Next Best: Somethingaboutmary .... Toblerone 242 Report post Posted August 10, 2018 Monaro Mia and Zadaka were late scratchings. In other news, this narrative is boring already. Get a new hobby you dunce. Ring Iraklis and dribble to each other. tonkatime
Toblerone 242 Report post Posted August 10, 2018 FYI, once the scratchings are removed the first tips represent: 6 favourites (Great Fantasy, Feel The Burn, NO Doctor Needed, Benson Buys, Bar Room Brawl, Whitehaven Beach) 2 plunge horses (Its Official Babe 14-7, Crackared 9-5) 1 second favourite (Somethingaboutmary) and Realmein. I agree, we all know if you follow any one tipping out selections in every race no matter who they are or what they call themselves you will come out horribly on the wrong side of the ledger. I could understand the narrative a bit more if Ivan was posting his selections as well as the Sharks. Fartoomuch
ivanthegreat 1,123 Report post Posted August 11, 2018 LAST ONE............ I have made my point. The Shark: Best At Gore Harness On Saturday Photo by: Wild Range Photography Race 1 6 Laura Bush ($2.50): Falls into this race quite nicely considering what she has taken on recently. Blair Orange in the bike too, so there’s another tick and as a race winning against half a field of maidens she should be hard to beat. Selections: 6-1-8-10 Result 3 , 5 , 10 , 8 BET NOW Race 2 4 Stick Man ($1.75): Hails from a stable that knows how to get them going early and the workout and trial form would suggest a big debut is on offer here. Should take the bull by the horns and make it his own. Selections: 4-7-6-9 Result 4 , 1 , 7 , 2 ($1.60 ) BET NOW Race 3 6 Kiwi Bloke ($8.00): Not bad in last couple up in Canterbury from bad draws. Won’t be all the way down in Gore just to make up the numbers either. Not a real standout, but a good winning hope in what is an even looking line up. Selections: 6-3-10-12 Result 2 , 8 , 3 , 9 BET NOW Race 4 2 Tetrick ($13): Been waiting for this guy to get a good draw and here it is, should punch forward and hold a handy position and if it turns into a staying contest then he’ll be right in it for a very long way. Selections: 2-11-13-5 Result 12 , 3 , 10 , 4 BET NOW Race 5 4 Brian ($1.75): Huge run to win at Addington fresh up after going to war with The Commando. That run suggested the next grade should hold no barriers from success. If he finds the lead, look out. Selections: 4-11-12-7 Result 11 , 10 , 8 , 9 BET NOW Race 6 6 Franco Santino ($3.40): Classy customer back after a freshen up. Has real high speed and although another step up from his last assignment he looks more than capable of giving this a huge shake. Selections: 6-8-9-1 Result 6 , 3 , 2 , 5 BET NOW Race 7 7 Motu Top Mach ($2.40): There was a little bit of clase about that victory at Forbury Park last week. Ultra impressive in fact. It suggested that more is in store and while facing a rise in grade, there’s a motor there which is big enough to handle it. Selections: 7-8-11-12 Result 10 , 4 , 1 ,7 BET NOW Race 8 7 Stunin Love ($2.60): Paul Court trained runner first up from a spell. Did a good job last campaign and with more time to develop, should be in for a good campaign, starting today. Selections: 7-10-2-6 Result 1 , 12 , 2 , 5 BET NOW Best: Stick Man.......................YES $1.60 (They even backed it in Gore)Next Best: Franco Santino Well done $3.30Roughie: Tetrick ............. Orange roughie maybe ? JUST A BIT SLOWER THAN BURNING IT ! ..... ..... Thejanitor
tonkatime 323 Report post Posted September 10, 2018 I see this week the shark is posting all over social media about how they have gone 10-3 in their nfl tips for round 1. It was actually 9 and 4.
Crackthewhip 8 Report post Posted September 10, 2018 Check out the results...they speak for themselves. Best to use your your own judgement and you will do a whole lot better. I can’t believe the TAB publishes and promotes such crap...bit of a scam to pretend they know what they are doing to suck punters in! ivanthegreat 1,123 Report post Posted September 22, 2018 Yesterday at Hawkes Bay was classic THE SHARK on a 1st pick basis only picked 1 winner Avantage and that was a photo at that. The others ( POP & Sweeney ) talking all day long only managed 2 being Avantage and the Mongolian Marshall. Rodley also had Mellody Belle to make it 3. The famous FIRST CALL excelled again a fullscap page of picks everybody lost money except a $9 profit for Tan Trouble is everybody is forced to read the same media coverage including radio which is all put out directly or indirectly by the TAB. ivanthegreat 1,123 Report post Posted September 22, 2018 The SHARKS picks for Oamaru are the same 4 horses in every race as Matt Markam's on the radio just in a different order , What are the odds of this being coincidental ?? Phantom 494 Report post Posted September 26, 2018 So funny hearing Paul Moate say "I can't get him (The Shark) out of my head - he is the bane of my existence". Why don't you just knock him back to win $20 a time mate like you do with me?
