Well they could make the semis now....they play Sweden???

Yep. Win that and have Russia or Croatia in the Semi. The best teams are in the other group.

Brazil play Belgium and France play Uruguay...winners meet in the Semi.

England 100-1 against any of those on tonights performance. Created absolutely nothing.

They are an ordinary side that has had an easy passage against third rate teams. In for a big shock when they play someone decent.

Although they probably won't win they have an absolutely clinical striker upfront in Cane, their back four has a solid look about it and some ability to push forward when required especially Trippier whose been outstanding for them this tournament, Eric Dier is a class act and would waltz into most sides in the tournament with his versatility in the holding midfield role and across the back four and Lingard is a threat every time he gets on the ball they look ok to me.

So do Sweden knock them out or whose a decent side that will knock them out?

Who cares?

Quite a number of many many millions actually and that's only the people that take joy in England's failures  and those people always provide some amusement . A number of other many many millions take joy at an 19 year old coming on late holding his nerve to slot one  in front of a full house under the pump . No doubt the poms will stumble at some point but the ride is always fun and painful at times.Character building for those built of the right stuff too much for the idiots who sometimes shame us abroad   .200 plus countries entered last time I checked only one can win. Amid those 200 plus countries many many more millions care. So many many millions plus many many millions, well my state school East End maths education adds that up to lots and lots.

From the great atmosphere at Westpac full house here late last year a few people down here care too.

My money's on the French they are a proper team when they click.

Have to agree they have depth in every position and their starting 11 is mouthwatering, going to be a humdinger against Uruguay though they look a formidable side to break down and give El Matador a sniff of goal at your peril.

Tribal behavior. Overpaid primadonners who have bling wives and girlfriends, drive around in cars that no-one want to drive because the footballers do, think that fluffy dice and garish tatoos are the melt of the day, that are paid millions by people who are more idiotic than the players.

Where does all the money come from?  Oh that's right - from the hundreds of millions of people who love the game.  And all of us, idiots!  :)

It's Kane. And take him out and where do the goals come from.....???

Record against Sweden isn't good so there's the first challenge. Could not see them beating Brazil, Belgium or France.

Vardy is ok up front, given 90 mins he is a threat. I could see them beating Brazil if given the opportunity but there are many who will beat the other two,
