Deception & the UN Migration pact

by Elliot Ikilei

quote-deception-is-a-state-of-mind-and-t

How long will we tolerate deception as the first stage in communication by the state to the people?

We have become accustomed to deception by the government. Indeed, whenever a contentious issue arises that is of importance to New Zealanders, deception has been the default pattern for Labour-led governments. Labour assures us that it is in our best interests to think the way they say we should.

Examples of deception over contentious issues include the journey towards the redefinition of marriage when Labour MP Tim Barnett stated,

“The Civil Union Bill is an acceptable alternative; marriage can remain untouched.”

Helen Clark was even stronger and was quoted as saying,

“Marriage is only for heterosexuals. The Government is not — underline — not, changing the Marriage Act. That will remain as an option only for heterosexual couples.”

As expected, once the civil union bill was passed, it was not long before marriage was redefined, much to the glee of both Barnett and Clark.

During the contentious early days of the anti-smacking bill, Green MP Sue Bradford stated,

“Smacking has never been a criminal offence, and still isn’t.”

Helen Clark responded to an interviewer who asked if smacking should be banned with,

“Absolutely not! I think you’re trying to defy human nature.”

Again, several years after, there had been exponential increases in notifications, many good parents had been dragged through the courts, children had been ripped from their homes and all with no reduction in actual cases of abuse. Sue Bradford responded to the latest numbers with,

“My bill was never intended to solve that problem.”

New Conservative, the first political party, later joined by ACT and National, to publicly stand and condemn the UN Compact for Migration, notes that this Labour/Greens/NZ First government are still trying to tell us what to think. They are trying to to pacify us by saying whatever it takes to get us to close our mouths and conform.

“I would not sign something that took away our sovereign right to manage our own immigration, but because there’s been even the smallest shred of doubt, we’re going to seek some information.” “My gut says, based on what’s on paper, this does not affect our own migration.”

PM Jacinda Ardern.

“The only concern we would have is whether or not we were compromising this country’s sovereignty.”

Deputy PM Winston Peters

“It is paramount that New Zealand, a responsible international citizen, be part of the cooperative solutions initiated by the Compact”

Golriz Ghahraman, Green MP.

At the Morocco UN migration conference, the 164 countries expected to sign were asked if there were any issues with the pact. New Zealand declined to raise any concerns, and the motion was passed. All of the participating countries, including New Zealand, have now adopted the UN migration pact.

Applause followed the passing of the motion.

Immediately following the conference, Germany’s chancellor Angela Merkel stated,

“So then, during the UN General Assembly next week, the pact will once again be up for debate and a decision will be made on whether to accept it. At this time, a member state can demand a vote. When two-thirds of the represented countries agree then it is valid for all. That’s how majority decision-making works.”

“When two-thirds of the represented countries agree then it is valid for all.”

Once again, we ask how long will we tolerate deception as first stage communication from the state to the people?

The New Conservatives demand that the Labour-led government respect the sovereignty of our great nation and withdraw from continuing engagement with the UN migration pact, thereby rejoining our traditional allies and regaining some of the integrity we have lost through this push against our sovereignty.

Well worth a watch , I don't think we have  seen freedom around the world  under so much threat as we are seeing today or certainly not in the last 60 years .

Winston's betrayal on immigration , the deal signed is the similar to the Paris climate agreement and are probably linked , all voluntary until you try and leave , its a trap and we will do as we are told , many of the country's who signed are refugee exporters , I can see the UN phoning cindy , we have a spare 50,000 refugees this month , they are on the way , thanks .

Globalist socialist cindy and her attacks on anyone who owns there own home and above ,  home ownership seems to be her cut off point , rural NZer's constantly under attack from lefty extremists , democratically  elected Trump under threat , Britain being held to ransom by unelected EU officials  , Merkel wanting European country's to hand over sovereignty to the EU , China has appointed their leader as leader for life , a dictator , it goes on .

Good to see the Ausses and Trump standing their ground on the immigration issue , the issue that caused Brexit , riots in Belgium , the Netherlands and the rise of right wing politics in Germany and France , every action has a reaction , the socialist globalists are pushing hard left , they want world domination , one government , the reaction will be the strengthening of the right world wide , no doubt about it troubles brewing .

Callers overwhelmingly against UN Migration Compact

by Christie

48403680_695229810914026_492585981811307

Now that the great unwashed are finally starting to hear about it, Newstalk ZB reports that the vast majority of its callers on the subject are opposed to New Zealand signing the UN Migration Compact, although it is probably already too late by now. quote.

Callers into the Chris Lynch Show this morning were overwhelmingly against New Zealand signing up to the UN Global Compact on Migration, with many expressing concern it was an ideological decision by the Prime Minister.

The Government hasn’t decided whether to sign up to the agreement, even though a decision must be made in only a few days. end quote.

Jacinda Ardern originally said it was to be signed by December 17th and is now saying December 20th is the deadline. She is also saying that the final decision will be made by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Winston Peters.

Winston is our only hope now, guys. God help us all. quote.

Caller Chris said he is an immigrant to this country, but he had to spend thousands of dollars and go through many hoops before he was accepted.

“My heart bleeds for everyone in the world who needs a better life, I am a immigrant here myself. But if this compact goes through, is the NZ government going to refund the money I spent coming in legally here?” end quote.

Good point. Why bother doing things through the right channels when arriving on a leaky boat and tearing up your passport will achieve the same effect? This is madness in the extreme. quote.

Another caller said she believes there is an ulterior motive for NZ signing up to the agreement

“We have an ex PM who was in the United Nations, and that could be one thing that could be an incentive for New Zealand to sign up. I personally think it is very unwise.” end quote.

Well spotted. Many of us believe that Jacinda is wanting to follow in Helen Clark’s footsteps and get a cushy job at the UN. As a result, she is hell-bent on signing the compact. I have to admit, I live in hope though, that this compact will spell the end of the UN as we know it. Donald Trump will pull the US out of the UN the minute it tries to force all countries into accepting the terms of the compact, which Angela Merkel has indicated will happen if two-thirds of member states agree to make it binding. Once the US has gone, taking its funding with it, the UN will not be able to function. This cannot happen quickly enough. quote.

Dennis told Chris Lynch he was worried NZ would get taken advantage of, and said there was no clear benefit to signing up.

“It’s crystal clear that we have to do everything for them, and we get nothing in return. We have to house and feed them and give them access to everything, and there is nothing there which says what benefit we get in return.” end quote.

The trouble here is that all this is coming too late. The media has kept a stoic silence over this issue for months, and so, for that matter, has the government, which has known about this compact since March. Jacinda claims she would never sign New Zealand up to anything detrimental to our sovereignty when it comes to immigration policy, but either she is lying or simply does not understand the ramifications of the compact. I suspect she doesn’t understand it, and maybe she doesn’t particularly want to understand it fully either.

If the government was not intending to sign, we would know about it by now. The fact that we are still surrounded by ‘maybe’ and excuses about deadlines all indicate to me that this ‘open and transparent government’ is trying to pull a fast one yet again. We have probably signed up already and the government is hoping that the facts will get lost amid the Christmas festivities.

Let us hope that this is not the case and that we have not signed as yet, and that Winston Peters does the decent thing and pulls New Zealand out of it. I fear it is a vain hope though. It will all get lost in the festive season, as the government is hoping. Once we are all back on deck we may not realise that New Zealand will have a very different future than the one we thought we would have due to a Marxist prime minister and a sad, bitter old man.

I will gladly apologise to both parties if I am proved wrong but don’t hold your breath. As we all know by now, I won’t be doing that anytime soon.

It is quite clear you dont understand just how dangerous the 5 eyes are....

one need only take a look at the Fisa fiasco that has yet to be fully exposed...

now imagine just for a moment....

a worthy candidate for NZ Priminister ran in the next NZ election

...but every bit of information/planning was captured by a foreign country then re-routed back to the NZ opposition parties

the danger is that every move of the worthy candidate could be countered simply becos you know their moves as they plan it out!!

this endangers democracy by those who have the upper hand.

irrespective of whether you like Kim dot com or not... doesnt change the fact he has done NZ a favour by highlighting this!!

and by him doing so... those who are aware.. understand the Fisa scandal that took place in america

I agree

It looks like they are likely compromised like their US counterparts.

e.g Does that explain Peters signing migration pact?  going with labour? etc etc

How easy would it be to control Cindy? ...knowing latest strife

Globalists in full control?

So when the hammer drops on FISA NZ will be under scrutiny worldwide.

As Q says 5Eyes no more.

As Kim says ATM your vote is meaningless.

Free speech denier of the week

by Christie

Commenter of  the Week is going to be on hold for a few weeks while we all take a well earned break from posting and commenting. In its place, for this week at least, we have decided to put in the Free Speech denier of the week.

This week, the winner is:

stuff-ss-630.png?w=630&ssl=1

Credit: Technomage

How could this week’s winner be anyone other than our own beloved news outlet, Stuff?

It seems that Stuff can see into the future and knows exactly what is going to happen over the next few years regarding the weather, the climate and all related events. Even though a number of eminent scientists disagree, Stuff has decided it knows best about climate change, and will accept no discussion or dissenting voices on the subject. Stuff knows best.

stuff.png?w=640&ssl=1

I have decided to defer to Stuff editor Patrick Crewdson next time I want to add to my share portfolio. Obviously, with his keen insight and knowledge of future events, he will be able to tell me what to buy and how well those shares will do. What a wonderful skill to have, and how very useful it must be when it comes to… absolutely everything really. I wonder how many times he has won Lotto?

None of that matters. The point is that Crewdson and Stuff have taken the stand that their opinion is correct, and there are to be no dissenting voices… and they will shut down any opinions that differ from their own.

And they call us right leaning people who believe in free speech ‘fascists’.

propaganda-reno.jpg?w=754&ssl=1

I discussed this recently with a climate change believer. He said it was very frustrating to constantly be up against deniers, because the conversation goes nowhere, as it is always a question of whether or not climate change is real, and that Stuff’s attitude was a good one, because it moves forward to debate from an ‘is it true or not’ position to ‘how do we fix it’. This lady, Face of the Day on Saturday,  seems to think so too.

image_from_ios.png?w=750&ssl=1

Yes, very nice. Stuff censoring free speech about climate change will save all those cute little birdies now.

But the problem with Stuff’s attitude is that it is the start of a slippery slope. If they get away with this – and they have got away with it, since they have now been backed by the Media Council – what will they censor next? Will they close down anything they see as racist, even if it isn’t? Will they close down any criticism of the current government? Will they close down any comments about immigration, after the signing of the UN Migration Compact? Will they close down any criticism of terrorism? Will they stop comments about transgender people in sport? In short, will they close down everything that can be viewed as dissent, even mild dissent?

Here are a couple of comments of wisdom on yesterday’s Face of the Day:

FOTD.png?w=574&ssl=1

FOTD2.png?w=536&ssl=1

It is vitally important that we do not allow our basic rights to slip away. To those that think Stuff is right, I have only one thing to say.

Our parents and grandparents grew up in an era where free speech was taken away. Books were burned, the press was full of propaganda and everyone lived in compete terror. The second world war was fought to give us those freedoms back, or to keep them for those who were in danger of having them taken away, and millions lost their lives so that we could enjoy the way of life that is now under threat… again.

Many people will not see it that way, of course. But by the time people in Germany in the 1930s saw what was truly going on, they had no choice. They had to go along with it. The alternatives were terrifying.

As we seem condemned to repeat the errors of history, never think that it could not all happen again… because it already is.

Stuff be damned.

And the latest ‘cultural appropriation’ outrage is…

by SB

download-1.jpeg?w=1280&ssl=1

Cut the cheese for goodness sake and stop snivelling. The latest ‘cultural appropriation’ outrage in the wake of the ‘Maori Santa’ is both ridiculous and highly hypocritical. If the Wellington activists have given their seal of approval to culturally appropriating the European tradition of Santa Claus and completely replacing the traditional costume that he wears with a Maori one, then they have no right at all to complain about a New Zealand cheese being given a Maori name. quote.

Fonterra’s Kapiti Cheese brand is under fire by a Māori trademarks advisor for what he says is cultural appropriation of Māori culture in marketing.

N

He said a mother expressed hurt that her children who are descendants of Tuteremoana were worried they would be eating their ancestor.

1538460074399.jpg?w=1420&ssl=1 ‘Bringing home the Christmas Pakeha’ by AS Paterson in the Dominion in 1933

Cannibalism is a cultural tradition that I for one am very glad that Maori no longer practice. Fancy being silly enough to make a reference to it in the complaint. (Apparently, when cooked and eaten, Europeans tasted like pig. I wonder what this cheese tastes like?)

It is pertinent to note that this complaint was made last November and has only been turned into an outrage article now because it is a slow news month.

We must also remember that we were told repeatedly by the media and the activists in Wellington that we were not allowed to be upset at a ‘Santa’ who wore a red feather cloak and carried a giant hook even though he disappointed the children who didn’t know who the hell he was supposed to be and who were left crying and waiting for the real Santa to show up.

We have been lectured that we are raaacist for wanting to hold on to our traditions because they are European cultural traditions and therefore are not important enough to be respected or celebrated or kept.

But back to the latest cheese outrage. Here we have a cheesemaker embracing the Maori language as being uniquely Kiwi and naming one of its Kāpiti cheeses after a famous Kāpiti chief.

Since appropriation of Maori culture will be used as a justification for all this whining, it is important to note that the woman who complained is guilty of cultural appropriation herself. On social media she was all for the ‘Maori Santa’, not caring at all about appropriating a longstanding European tradition. Also her Twitter avatar (how delicious), instead of being a Maori icon, is… wait for it… a Nike icon.

I sincerely hope that all this outrage will help with brand recognition and will help Fonterra sell more of its Kāpiti Cheese products, especially Tuteremoana Cheddar.

(At $13.00 for 200gms I very much doubt she is feeding it to her kids either.)

This is very troubling:

Making Christianity illegal in Britain

by Lushington D. Brady

MuslimChristian.jpg?w=630&ssl=1 Caption: What is and isn’t allowed in Britistan.

Let’s face it, street preachers are a bit whacky, sometimes annoying, but ultimately harmless. Unless, of course, they’re advocating outright violence, in which case they’re most likely Muslim.

Muslims appear to be a protected group, even actively courted by police and other authorities. Hell, Muslim paedophiles in Britain can systematically rape British children on an industrial scale for decades and police, social workers and politicians will fall over themselves to cover up for and protect the rapists rather than risk being called racist.

Dare to get a bit enthusiastic about Jesus in public, though, and the filth will have you cuffed and charged before you can say “Praise the Lord!” Quote:

Two street preachers have today been convicted of a public order offence, after a public prosecutor claimed that publicly quoting parts of the King James Bible in modern Britain should “be considered to be abusive and is a criminal matter”. End of quote.

Preach jihad and death to Jews, and Jeremy Corbyn will have you over for tea while the British state showers you with welfare and other indulgences. But, just as quoting Winston Churchill, the leader who saved the world from Nazism, is an unforgiveable offence to the modern left, quoting the Bible in Britain today is “hate speech”. Quote:

Michael Overd and Michael Stockwell were found guilty under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 at Bristol Magistrates’ Court…

Andrea Williams, chief executive of the Christian Legal Centre, which is supporting the preachers, says that the case raises huge questions about the state of freedom of speech and freedom of religion in the UK.

People will be shocked that a court now considers the Bible itself to be a form of hate speech, she says. End of quote.

So, what did these hatey hate-speakers do? They offended Muslims…which, besides being frankly as easy as shooting hand grenades in a barrel, is one of the most unforgiveable sins in the eyes of the British state. Quote:

Mr Overd, Mr Stockwell and two friends were preaching in Bristol’s Broadmead Shopping Centre, in July last year.

The group that gathered was sometimes loud and aggressive, with some swearing and hurling abuse…Several hecklers appeared to be supportive of Islam…

Video evidence submitted to the court, shows Mr Overd being interrupted and forcibly removed from the scene by a police officer. End of quote.

christianconcern

A more recent video contrasts the hypocritical dichotomy in how the British police treat Muslims and Christians. In the first, a Muslim man screams abuse and threatens, spits and gestures violently at a police officer. The copper not only refuses to act, but tells onlookers that “This young man has the right to assembly”. In the second, an African Christian preacher calmly explains that he is preaching the Bible. He is cuffed and hauled off, and his Bible confiscated.

Islamic supremacists, take heart. Quote:

Responding to the judgment, Mr Stockwell said:

“There is a very disturbing pattern here. We declare Jesus’ message and critique rival beliefs such as Islam. Some people don’t like what we say, and threaten violence to silence us. Then, instead of defending free speech and protecting us, the police shut down free speech to avoid public disorder. And then a court convicts us of provoking disorder and risking violence!

“Something has gone badly wrong. This gives a green light to Islamists and other groups to silence speech that they don’t like, simply by threatening disorder or violence. End of q

Were your values attacked in 2018?

by Suze

free-speech.gif?resize=630%2C630&ssl=1 Credit: SonovaMin

Karl du Fresne describes 2018 as the year of the “white noise.” In other words, there was a lot of activity that individually didn’t sound like much but collectively indicates big social changes afoot. Quote.

“I’m going to stick my neck out and predict that 2018 will be recorded as the year when New Zealand was irrevocably drawn into the so-called culture wars – the global contest between neo-Marxists, who view Western civilisation as rotten and oppressive, and the upholders of traditional mainstream values and beliefs.”

end of quote.

Yes, anyone with traditional conservative values came under fire in 2018 and Karl lists some of the new values that we had thrust upon us. Quote.

It was the year when we had to acquire a new vocabulary to encompass previously unimagined variations of sexuality and gender identity. (I’ve learned that I’m “cisgender”, which means I identify with the gender “assigned” to me at birth, presumably on the flimsy basis that I had male organs.)

We became familiar with the word “transphobic”, for anyone who doesn’t unquestioningly comply with the agenda of transgender activists, and we learned a strange new adjective, “woke”, which denotes someone who has an ideologically correct line on issues such as gender politics, race and class oppression.

It was a year when we were encouraged to believe that far from being biologically determined, gender is a mere social construct, and that we should discard gender-specific pronouns such as “he” and “she” because they are tools of oppression.

It was the year when anyone who dared to dissent from the “woke” consensus on issues such as gender identity, multiculturalism and climate change risked being branded as a far-Right extremist and howled down.

It was the year when the sheer volume of white noise from a tiny but shrill minority of neo-Marxists almost succeeded in dominating the public conversation.

It was the year when the polarising effect of social media was magnified by algorithms that pushed people into extreme positions on both the Left and Right, to the extent that the centre-ground sometimes seemed almost to vanish from sight.

It was a year when universities, which were once places of edgy ideas and intellectual cut and thrust, slipped further into a state of rigid dogmatic conformity.

It was a year when free speech came under sustained attack, but in a highly selective way. Free speech was permissible if you belonged to an aggrieved minority, but not for anyone defending what might be called mainstream values. Then it became hate speech.

It was the year when people in positions of authority who should defend freedom of speech, such as Auckland mayor Phil Goff and Massey University vice-chancellor Jan Thomas, tried to prevent New Zealanders from being exposed to ideas that they decided were harmful.

It was the year when a biological accident of birth became the new Original Sin; when anyone who was white, middle-class and heterosexual, women as well as men, was deemed to occupy a position of privilege that disqualified them from expressing an opinion on anything.

It was a year in which that notion of “privilege” became ever broader, even to the extent that thin people were attacked for oppressing those who are overweight.

It was a year in which the once-honourable word “liberal” continued to be used, without a trace of irony, to describe people whose intolerance of differing opinions is the very opposite of liberalism.

It was the year when the New Zealand Left fractured in fascinating ways as the “old” far Left, which still believes in free speech, turned against the precious neo-Marxist Left which insists on the right not to be offended; and when hard-core feminists, who were accustomed to being at the cutting edge of sexual politics, suddenly found themselves in the unfamiliar position of being labelled as oppressors by the transgender lobby.

It was the year when anyone rash enough to express even mild scepticism about climate change was equated with the denialists who insist there was no Holocaust. And it was the year when we learned of a phenomenon called presentism, which seeks to deny history by erasing all reminders of our past that don’t align with 21st century moral judgments.

The good news is that the vast majority of New Zealanders, not being susceptible to bizarre political extremes, remained largely untouched by the ideological wars raging around them. If they’re aware of them, their attitude is probably one of mild bemusement at the absurdity of it all.”

Karl du Fresne end quote.

I wish I had Karl’s optimism because I don’t think we got off that lightly.

We still have the ogre of “no-free-speech-for-you” towering over us.

We still have ‘liberals’ running our schools and universities; determined to trash conservative values.

We still have activists attempting to change or erase history.

We still have climate change and carbon credits as a given.

We still have gender fluidity thrust on us and our children.

We still have socialists attacking capitalism, imposing taxes and wasting money.

Most of us are complacent, not recognising the huge changes now threatening our traditional values and morals. The essence of western civilisation is very much under threat and many of us don’t even realise that there is a war going on.

NZ Measles Outbreak following US

It.s all about money and control?...Big Pharma?

How the media controls the population with mind control.

https://www.radionz.co.nz/news/national/384557/measles-outbreak-canterbury-school-asks-unimmunised-students-to-stay-home

Timeline of vaccine mind control being pushed on the population from the last couple months

Step 1.) WHO says anti vaxxers are global health threat

Step 2.) Golden globe awards has segment giving out flu shots to the crowd

Step 3.) Measles “outbreak” in several states (a few hundred cases of a harmless rash is somehow an outbreak)

Step 4.) Washington issues declaration of “emergency” over measles (nobody died)

Step 5.) Legislation brought forward in over 30 states over vaccines and vaccine exemptions

Step 6.) Media fabricates story of a unvaccinated teenager who goes behind parents back to vaccinate himself (later gets invited to speak in front of senate)

Step 7.) Senate meets to discuss vaccines

Step 8.) Impeccable timing of a study that claims the MMR vaccine doesn’t cause autism (the exact vaccine and disease garnering so much media attention gets “exonerated” in terrible methodological study funded by the pharmaceutical industry)

Step 9.) Censor any and all information that contradicts the government created narrative. Essentially ban the truth so those being programmed only see the side they want you to see.

And that my friends is how mind control works…..

So where is the media reports, outpouring of grief and vigils for these 280 Christian people murdered in the past two months by Muslims in Nigeria and about 30 Christians being killed in a church in the Philippines last month, again by Muslims.

Who will pray for Nigeria?

Dozens of people were recently murdered in horrific fashion in their homes and places of worship. They were targeted by violent extremists because of their religion. They are just the latest in a shocking campaign of religious violence which has claimed thousands of lives in just the last year alone.

Naturally, the attacks caused shockwaves around the world. There were candlelit vigils, world leaders were outspoken in condemnation, social media users changed their user pictures. Media angrily demanded that the responsible ideology be stamped out.

Actually, none of those reactions happened. The recent attack, like the carnage that has claimed thousands of lives in Nigeria, passed with barely a ripple across the mainstream consciousness. After all, the victims were Christians; the perpetrators Muslim. Quote:

At least 120 people have been killed in a series of alleged attacks by the Fulani militia on Christian communities in the Adara chiefdom of southern Kaduna in Nigeria since February, according to the nonprofit group Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW).

The organization reported 52 people were killed and 100 homes were destroyed last Monday…The victims included women and children.

Survivors of the attack told CSW that their assailants divided into three groups. One group shot and killed people, another set fire to homes as people ran away, and the third waited in the bush to intercept fleeing villagers.

Later that same day, dozens of people were injured and 43 houses were destroyed in another attack by militant Fulani herdsmen on another village.

The Fulani herdsmen…are Muslim and have fought with Christian farmers over grazing land for centuries. End of quote.

It might be argued in response that this is news from far away, while the Christchurch massacre is local, and therefore much more likely to grab headlines. There is some truth in this, except for the fact that Burma is also very far away, yet the Western media have been obsessed by inter-religious violence there. Western activists, even the UN itself, have trumpeted the cause of the Muslim Rohinga in Burma.

This is all part of a pattern of consistent hypocrisy from the Western media-elite, when it comes to dealing with violence from, and violence directed at, Muslims.

The Australian media’s pet Muslim, Waleed Aly, has consistently hand-waved away Islamic violence. It is, he declared, a mere “irritant”, which hardly kills anyone, anyway. In fact, Aly managed to waffle through a whole segment on Nigeria’s Boko Haram and their ideology without once mentioning “Islam” or “Muslim”. On the other hand, when Muslims were attacked in Christchurch, Aly wept on national television.

London’s Muslim mayor, Sadiq Khan, infamously dismissed Islamic terrorism as just “part and parcel of living in a big city”. After Christchurch, he immediately announced that armed police would be guarding London’s mosques. Jeremy Corbyn referred to the murder of dozens of teenage girls in Manchester as a mere “incident”; but he rushed to tweet about the “horrific terror attack in New Zealand”. Quote:

Nigeria ranks as the 12th worst country in the world for Christian persecution, according to the Open Doors USA’s 2019 World Watch List. End of quote.

Meanwhile, almost nothing is said about the persecutions of Christians – at the hands of Muslims – in Nigeria and around the world. Dozens of Christians were murdered in their church in the Philippines just weeks ago. No hashtags, no media outrage, no vigils.

Terrorism is no less heinous just because of who its victims are. We rightly pray for the victims of Christchurch. Who is praying for the Christians of Nigeria and the Philippines?
