OK 'Ad Augusta' teamies - we're just about there - 1 week away from Grand Final victory. We'll put this one away today, then  a- marchin' off to glory we go next Saturday. The very best of luck to you today Wrinkles, Cat, Tom, and Casper. Let's do this !  Let's do it well.

Good luck to you also today Cubesinstein and your fellow Rubiks, with special mention for my opponent today, long-time very astute and successful tipster Hesi. Although your Rubiks run comes to an end today, you can be very pleased with what you've achieved this comp. Bronze Medal will sit well on your mantelpiece.

I'll do my best with updates today - I'm not the most computer-savvy as Geoff will vouch for, no spreadsheets or anything but scoring only 1 match how hard can it be ?? :D. There's a couple of races close together at one stage, I'll do my best to get an update between those two races as well. If anyone finds any error in my scoring just yell out - unless the error is in favour of 'Ad Augusta' in which case please keep quiet ! :D

Cheer, everyone.

Enjoy.

Hi Peter, if you jotted down my picks before now, please note I've just edited my post to correct my NZ best bet.  Meant to be on comp race 4 - post now reflects this.  Thanks.

Shouldn't be any issues as Wrinkles hasn't posted yet.

Hi, Kloppite.

Speaking as rival team captain - no problem at all. As you say, Wrinkles hasn't posted yet so there's no issue having to be pondered.

Good luck !

hehe ....Cubesinstein is lurking ....and I sense a posting is imminent !

phew ...we saw the moniker 'The Crucible' flash up with a posting, sending a shudder through everyone wondering who was in line today for a mauling from the '14 from 14' supreme champion !

Fortuntately nothing so dramatic ....'TC' posting Hesi's picks that had been sent through to him.

We can relax ! :D. You rest, TC, .....everyone deserves a day off from time to time.

Let's do this....

Cubity had a sulk for 5 days from last Saturday and didn't visit 'Cafe 'cause we thought the Rubiks had finished 5th on the ladder losing in the last race last week....check

Rubiks up against some sort of Latin crowd , so being a bigot and one to make sweeping generalisations , Cubity excepts a fiery encounter with multiple lead changes....check

Cubes form line less than magnificent and up against a constant comp champ...Casper....crikey........check

Onwards to finals glory for the geometrically symmetric ones......check

Race 1...#11 , #12

Race 2...#1 , #5

Race 3...#4 , #10

Race 4...#2 , #9...BB

Race 5...#12 , #16

Race 6...#4 , #7

Race 7...#6 , #7...BB

Race 8...#5 , #7

Race 9...#3 , #6

Race 10...#2 , #11

Thanks to scorers......check

Thanks to team-mates....it's been a blast.....check

Good luck to all teams...check

Cubemeister will echo would others have already posted....probably Professor Jenkins best ever comp......check

Thanks, Geoff ...you're on to it ...I didn't realise that Tom had then put in 3 to replace his scratched 8 when I alerted Roland and Tom about the original scratching.

I've added in 3 to go with 2 for Tom.

Keep an eye on me, Geoff. I officially anoint you 'back-up.' No pay of course.
