snout 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 No more graphic example of the malaise this country finds itself in than some of the visuals by trackside of Te Rapa today. As the cameras panned the pre-race activity prior to the feature Waikato Times Gold Cup there for all to see, including the Aussie audience, was the proud sponsors billboard festooned in gang graffiti backdropping the 3rd world starting gates. No-one seemed to give one --- isn't this the club committee busying themselves in other activities??

Scotch Thistle 133 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 Was good to see the hen party having fun. Took the mind briefly away from the malfunctioning starting gates, and the lack of fun the parties associated with the 2 late scratchings had experienced. Clubs should get the basics right.
