eljay 1,719 Report post Posted March 23, 2018 With the crap weather forecast till the end of the test, I reckon the Kiwi's have to declare NOW. They have a lead of 171 and need to apply the pressure for better of worse. Must be positive. No use scoring 400 and finding with all the stoppages for bad weather, they just don't have time to get the Poms out a second time. Maybe they will wipe off the 171 with the loss of only 3 wickets, but remember these wickets will be their best batsmen and at least the Kiwis should have time get them out or put further pressure on them as to when they declare.
