Cubes 1,770 Report post Posted January 11, 2018 It's a funny ol' thing this racing game foresure . Some things in life seem to go full circle....and that's not an easy thing for a Cube to say !!! The Cubemeister last attended the hallowed turf in Upper Hutt some decades ago when we were just a rectangle . Seem to remember Balmerino running ? But Dodecahedron has spun the lucky abacus Cubinator has heard the highway North has opened So the 2 questions Mrs Cubes has helpfully suggested asking are thus ? Is there a good local hotel to stay the night 'round there ? If we were to attend 1 day of the Carnival should we choose the third ? Any long shot roughies that 'Cafers can recommend to help Cubity out of a current form slump ?

chelseacol 2,488 Report post Posted January 11, 2018 Definitely Cup Day this year Cubes - racing should be pretty good looking at noms. We are heading up next Friday so give me a call if you make it and fancy a beer at any stage. I normally stay in town and get the train out which is a bit of a novelty for me these days (after years cursing the things in England !). Love Wellington and the restaurants& pubs. vanturk1

Cubes I will be there tomorrow, with a short speech tucked in my pocket. Hope to see you there. BTW the Museum Hotel is the go for you. Yes, we've been waiting for the bully....
