Iraklis, It is great that you love harness racing so much!

However, it is staggering that you love it soooooo much and yet you don’t punt???????

Wouldnt having a punt add a bit more interest to it????

Brodie mate, you will never understand, I love the horses for their own sake and the absolute athletes they are, the beauty of them when they're racin - in motion, it's magic and harness is just the best! don't need to bet to ever enjoy watchin them.....I love gettin out to the stables on racenight to have up close look at them, and even at trials I go up to the trainers and have a yak about what this horse was like, or that horse was like to handle, train etc, Josh Dickie really nice guy him and his dad :D they both took time to tell me bout the Mighty Spur if and when he was comin back to the track etc I couldn't wait to see him at the workouts on his way back to racin, saw Nat when she had Blacks A Fake and noticed the care she took in lookin after him racenight, spoke with the strapper and got a pat of Mr Feelgood (winner of the Little Brown Jug for cryin out loud standin right in front of me) absolutely beautiful animal, helped a lady get her purse back when Mr DG decided to eat it, got to hang out with my mighty Freak before his comeback race in the Rowe, and look at what he did that night......that's it right there, big, big, fan that's enough for me don't need bettin my friend........

Kotare, got to have up close and personal look at Heaven Rocks and I tell you if he ever gets his head round racin then look the f@#$ out (sorry bout the language) All You Need Is Faith is the same built azzzz!!!!

Totally agree with you - I can't recall the last time or if ever I have had a bet on a horse let alone an Allstars horse and yet I would be one of their biggest fans - both of the team at Allstars and of the champions (and near champions) they keep turning out. You could list 20 of their horses over the last 5 years that would match or better than all other stables combined.

If you need to bet Bogee to get your thrills then so be it but you have no right to tell other people "they should bet to get more thrill" - each to their own.

I do bet occasionally as stated on another post where I asked you to post your tips after you have bet on them - but of course you never responded to that thread.

Brilliant, so two of “The Brodsters” critics about how punters are restricted in NZ are NON PUNTERS!!  !

Yeah tells a lot doesn’t it!!

Of course, you are, as you excuse them from guilt for drug offences while slagging off other trainers who have experienced the same.

Your posting of the all stars article and deriding Brodie at the same time smacks of blind loyalty to the stable.

When have I excused them? Actually it was Mark who got caught and admitted it - not them as you say (and yes I know Nats was in partnership when Dream about Me was caught. The others have never admitted it even when the circumstances were obvious. Did they ever get fined or charged having drugs at Forbury Park? And did they ever find out the person involved? is this latest charge ever going to come to fruition? Oh yes that's right Brodie has some earth shattering news coming that he can't talk about.

Deriding Brodie comes easily. I wonder if he or his most loyal disciple (you) ever wonders why people are so put off by him. It must happen in his real life too. Life must be a bitch when you are always a know-all, repeat time and time again "poor Brodie", keep saying he never lies when he has done so on here many times etc.

And you know this for a fact?

Ring up the RIU or JCA or whoever and find out what is going on with the latest charge? That is the usual recommendation. Stop wondering and do something.

Yip I can see why, for sure. Don't get a few things he says eg the need to punt thing today as an example but what the gang doesn't ever acknowledge is when he concedes points and makes allowances in his posts, you never take those things into account, you just blindly go on as much as Brodie does about being restricted. That is what pisses me off.

......start a topic and then feel the need to slag a person off in 2 posts before the person can even make comment, so take your character assassination and arrogance somewhere else, bitch.

Some other top trainers I do not respect because of dodgy ways of achieving results (yes I know all about "blue magic", but it was admitted and penalized for). Cran Dalgety for example suddenly importing horses to win the premiership. And although the record book shows he was the leading trainer he wasn't in most peoples eyes. He and the Dunns have multiple drugs charges and I feel will always be looked sideways at.

So blue magic was not dodgy? Is a serum not dodgy?

Simply importing horses is more of a crime than Blue Magic?

I don't think you have any idea.

Happy, they are not worth responding to!

They are the Merry men just trolling and are quite pathetic now!

They think they can get under “The Brodster” skin.

Well think again boys you hold no credibility with me now that one minute you don’t bet and then you say you do?????

Go figure!

No more staggering than you never punting on Premier meetings. The best horses going around on the best race day / nights and you only watch them. Or do you only watch races you punt on?

Can you not read? Get someone who can and perhaps they can explain it to you.

When I occasionally do bet it will be on an over then odds drivers challenge (e.g D Dunn holiday challenge when he was always going to more meetings than Blair). Oh wait I have already said this in an earlier post - I forgot some people just never understand.

I and others find it frustrating when you high jack threads with your whinging about being restricted. We are not all slow at understanding something- we don't need to be told 20 times.

And suprize surprize boogie -the TAB is not going to change - accept it and move on.

I will be at 3 race meetings in Hong Kong over the next week or so and I will not be having a bet on any horse. I might take a jockey challenge if I think the odds are worth it. You just cannot understand that someone could attend a meeting without betting. I want to see the greatest jockey (IMHO) in the world in action. Kind of like watching the Allstars.
