Defeats for the Numero Unos, Demented Elves and Famous Five cost them a place each. Vidi Vici's win took them up one spot while We Five Kings remain in the cellar despite their nice win today. Only 6 points cover the table (3 point spread for teams 2nd-8th) so everyone is still in with a chance of winning it. ' Vidi Vici ' on the board, and looking dangerous, having taken out a Top 3 team. In fact it looks like the favourites up the top of the leaderboard took a bit of a pounding today (well done Maria's team), making this a very, very interesting contest as we move to Day 4 of the seven days. Back to ' Vidi Vici '. John will be very pleased that when he has a rare "miss" his team-mates have stepped up to fill the gap. No more deserved win today than that achieved by Casper, in outstanding form all comp and with another big total today but more importantly for Casper and the team, the valuable win that had been eluding him. Top performance today by Maureen the Invincible earning her a maiden victory in the comp. Mr Gee gave Tony plenty to think about and was run down only very late, in the final race. Now that ' Vidi Vici ' have tasted victory we've decided we like it ! so tomorrow at the beloved Ellerslie there'll be more conquering that will be achieved by the ' Vidi Vici ' s, up against the worryingly-named 'The Demented Elves'. No complacency from me though ...from memory the last time I played Sarah I received something like a thousand million dollar "drubbing", so I'm keen not to see a repeat of that debacle. Pace yourself, Sarah. Thanks very much for the top performance scoring and providing commentary today John and Brian. Great effort by you guys again, and much appreciated. I think that both of your teams deserve a competition bonus point in recognition of your efforts today.
