Heavyweight hero 14 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 With no harness racing south of Methven this week and none in Southland for a fortnight, could someone tell me why there is no racing at Forbury tonight?
2Piper 404 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 Probably the fact that they reduced the quantity of races this season and number of horses avaliable. August has recently been bad for numbers. Hopefully a review will change things next season. Has been discussed on this forum in the past.
Heavyweight hero 14 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 This is mid september!!!!!! Who are "they" you are talking about? less meetings = less races = less income. This negative attitude and downward spiral has got to stop now!

john legend 735 Report post Posted September 15, 2017 it was originally a sat night date but as test match addington and hrnz in their wisdom (or lack of) decided instead of thursday night they would try a saturday daytime meeting to avoid the clash. So it maynot be such a dastardly plot to sink us all.
