The Chiefs might be feeling a bit miffed having won their match but lost 3 places on the table ! The Whanau's big win gained them another place. The Thieves, Blues, Ferdies and Turbos all lost and remain where they started the day. The Turbos will need a 4 or 5 pointer in their last match to escape the Wooden Spoon playoff while the Blues and Ferdies look to be in a straight scrap to avoid the other slot. Technically the Thieves are not out of the woods yet either although they have saved a Joker for the Final Day. The Kats and The 'Canes look likely to fight out the Minor Premiership battle although the next 4 sides - Barbarians, Sulkies, Whanau & Chiefs - could spring a surprise with a 10 pointer given they all have a Joker left.
