The only chance for the Blues to turn the match around reared as the gates open dislodging Mark Zahra so the Ferdies were safe from there on in holding on to win and adding a bonus point for a team profit, much of it generated by an impressive Man of the Match in Punter Pete. No one tipped the final winner while Howie was Match Star for the Auks who looked a bit off colour. Thanks to Cubes for an impressive sub effort.

The Turbos played their Joker but had already thrown in the towel before the last where Gruff, Moose and Lloyd picked up their final collects. The Thieves on Wheels, for whom Rob scored in the last, sealed back-to-back wins with supersub Jack starring as Man of the Match while his somewhat luckless opponent Koriokaramea was MVP for the Manawatu outfit.  The Thieves added bonus points for their margin and a team profit.

A win for the Thieves gained them three places to take 2nd while The Flying Sulkies win took them up two places. The day's big movers were the Ferdies who gained 6 places up out of the cellar to 4th - well done guys ! 2nd 4 points THIEVES ON WHEELS 1955.20

Just looking at the points table Peter and if todays total after two rounds is cumulative as it seems with the scores shouldnt The Thieves be on 6 points. 4 for this week and 2 from last weeks. Correct me if I have read this wrong. Thanks

Congratulation's to Team Barbarian's on your magnificent Team win. A special mention to Mr Gee and Viceroy on your victory's. You boy's are to be congratulated on your winner's on the day. You both must be so happy to select those  long shot winner's with all the long period's of  research  you must put into  finding your wonderful winner's.
Once again, Team Barbarian's , well done ,  on your win and continued good fortune for the remainder of the PJ's Spring Trans - Tasman Super Tipping Competition.

Dear Team Chief Member's ,
It's been a challenging start for us in PJ's Spring Trans - Tasman Super Tipping Competition.   There's so much upside for our team,
Now we face The Thieves On Wheels Team.  They will be  a massive challenge for us this week  - having skipped out to equal Competition Leadership. They have some tough, hard-working Tipster's experienced in all aspect's of Racing. With a little luck coming our way this week. Team  Thieves On Wheels  might  "  Break in the Running " to help us out  .
Suffice  to say, Team Chief's ,  will be accepting  nothing less than a long over due  win come this Saturday  :).

PJ, i re-enter Hospital this coming week. Please note , i will give Jill my tips and she will make sure my Tips are entered  for Team Chief's.

PJ , keep up your wonderful  Trans - Tasman Super Tipping Competition's. They are most enjoyable for all of us to read and view  :).

See you all on a Race Track real soon.

Cheer's.

P/s  Alan , i hope your in good Health Champ !

Winkles, your winning streak on Saturday did not go unnoticed. The problem appears to be certain team members who are finding winners elusive. Tripped up by their own incompetence and the skill of their opponents.

As one of the accused, I shall be putting in some extra study this week.

Good luck with the health,

tony
