The Flying Sulkies win over the Babas saw them finish over the top of the losing Hurricanes to steal 2nd spot with the 'Canes slipping back to 3rd. Wins for the Whanau and Chiefs saw them rise up one place each in the final reckoning. The Barbarians' loss saw them drop 3 places into the bottom half of the Finals draw while The Thieves, Blues and Ferdies all lost and made no progress. The Blues aggregate was enough to scrape them into the Finals ahead of the Ferdies who will battle the Turbos - winners today - for the Wooden Spoon, over a best of 3 series. From here on it is sudden death for those who have made the Finals.

Having to pick for Luca and keep them relatively separate from my own wasn't easy, so proud of that tally as well. Nice to see the Harness boys keeping them honest. Right first time 1,923 Report post Posted November 4, 2017 Brilliant performance today from Mighty Blues Captain, Pete. By the end of the day he was only one step away from walking on water. I guess he will be expecting the Captaincy Fee to be doubled now. Geoff, you're in charge of disbursements...how about opening your wallet. Hard luck, Kauri Kats. Top stuff in round-robin by your team, just your bad luck today that finally everything clicked for Mighty Blues. pete and Gordy55 1
