For what it's worth and if opinions matter (oh it's an online forum.. opinions are all that matter)..

Jimmy F's alright and was actually good before it seemed he OD'd on ritalin.

Isaac's a moose (assuming a moose is slang for a white-power muppet/goose).

Prop wasn't spanked in the any thread i've read (i can't vouch for anything btw 500 thread Egyptian cotton).

Tom Scott's rarely (but occasionally) funny.

I wear jandals (unless i'm having a dodgy ankle day).

I also occasionally wear glasses, have bouts of poor coordination (of an evening), type quicker than i speak (i started this yesterday) and have taken to oiling up my belly in case my weiner (that's a baby pig you sickos) isn't fat enough for christmas pork-belly.

Test cricket can be lost in a session. And it's really painful when you lose it in the first session as we did. Actually prior to the first by letting Mcculum play which pushed Guptill up to open.

worst decision ever

Good to see our bowlers rip through the best batting lineup in Indian history, but geez. I feel for the many NZ'ers who have turned their back on the Black Caps...

Im sure they'll return to this thread saying what a wonderful performance it has been.

Ya think so?? :D

Right, back to the holiday!

Hell Prop,you are on HOLIDAY??

And you find time to write this garbage :)

Mind you,you are probably protesting human rights in GAZA right now aye, using yourself as a Human Shield against all those nasty westerners..

Then it will be off to the U.N and protest at Capitalism, while wearing your Greenpeace shirt of course.

So it doesnt surprise me that on your 'holiday' you feel the need to visit race cafe so frequently and not only make some posts, but ensure they are long winded and so full of rubbish that everyone just glosses over them.

Not much of a life, but your type, the goody good politically correct types who live in self sustaining communities, relish any chance they can get on a high tech gadget such as a PC.

So go for it Prop, enjoy your holiday :D:

I see, Isaac, you persist in your attempts to label me as a tree-hugging type...

But we have already established that, whatever your strong suits are, Comprehension ain't one of them...

I must be doing something right vis-a-vis my politics, though

Geez your harsh mate....remember who we are playing and why they are ranked #1 in the test arena at the mo. We should be thankful their groundsmen "stuffed up" with there 1st 2 test pitches. Agree about the coach though....fall on your sword type of thing. But I doubt there is an "Aussie" available at the mo so he will probably survive another season.

Yes I have bud but soon tire of the personal tirades to be honest. The old adage "entitled to one's opinion" only goes so far on here before a raw nerve is hit....then the turds fly.

You know your league mate so your OK :D

Prop goes well(40oz bourbon)......always have a chuckle with his "life experiences"(40oz bourbon).

Just back to the cricket....I detest the NZ selectors regurgitating a "middle aged" player yet again. Franklin's OK though if we have to go through this process. Can bat a bit now too....and also from Wellington so a few positives.

....have you been to Odessa yet....and survived !!

Watched a TV doc on it on Tuesday and they interviewed businessmen who spoke of the control the mafia exerts there.

One spoke of the crime etc and said he wouldnt venture on streets alone.

Take care , my friend and enjoy your travels !!

Welly and Tasman getting bad press too for violence so I spose things no worse !!

Superb stuff, Isaac!

Humour is a great weapon, no?

Bit scared to go into a review of the latest Test as the blunt scores don't make good reading, ha, but I guess that if the Black Caps had been told before the tour that they'd drawn two and lost just one Tests against the best team in the world on that best team's own pitches they'd have been happy?

Much the same happened in South Africa - after two draws everyone bemoaned the All Whites' 'lack of attacking endeavour' in their third game, completely forgetting that just by drawing thrice the team had taken themselves into undreamed-of levels...

Yep, holiday going well...

;)

Odesa (they only use one s for it here - it is О] in Ukrainian, a language I am fast not becoming fluent in) is the next stop, tm...

We have a good look through a place called Balykly-Yuve en route. That translates into English as Balaklava and is the site of, yep, yet another battle in that region (Gallipolli isn't too far away) where dimwitted English commanders did typically dimwitted things!

Not seen even a smidgeon of crime here yet - mind you, the frequency with which we are running across bands of fresh-faced young army men patrolling the steets with very-lethal weaponry sort of ensures that, right?

That said, I got woken late one night by the sounds of what was clearly a horrific pitched battle in the hotel

What a bloody bunch of no-hopers in this team,if they're are not breaking down they're not justifying their position in the team.Bring them home and start from 1-12 and weed out the non perforfmers. The old saying " your only as good as your last game"seems to apply to these guysfor 2-3 years. If we don't have a competitive side to send to the world cup in 3 months, don't send one at all.It will save us back home embarrassment,AGAIN.

Great points BB. Another bowler broken down and who do we bring back: Bllody James Franklin. Powder Puff King Extroidinaire. God help us.

:D.....and the 'powderpuff' went on to score 72.:D

Geez Torch...you're about as good as Thommo.......Peter Ingram, Williamson, Franklin.....how many more are you going to get wrong?

Oops...the bowler has changed and he's going to come around the wicket to the left-hander...I'd better let you get on with your job of shifting the sightscreen.:D

Actually....Tasman Man (if you're reading this), would you care to comment on the sightscreen shifting abilities of young Nathan as I'm sure he would have been one of the attendents when you were playing 1st class cricket.;)

It should be becoming clear to everyone now that Ross Taylor is refusing to put the interests of 'the team' ahead of his own.

Following on from the example set by McCullum (in deciding he wants to bat only), Taylor appears to be refusing to bat any higher than 4.

His team need him at 3 as there is no-one else with the right credentials. Last night they had J.How at 3, the game before that it was Williamson.

Taylor should be at 3, with Styris at 4, leaving the youngster Williamson to find his feet at 5 or 6.

No wonder their results are as poor as they are with this prevailing selfish attitude amongst the senior players.

lets hope we get more "Powderpuffs" in our cricket side.

Following on from his 78 James Franklin hits 98.

Just goes to show what losers some people are here sitting behind their laptops...

Haha! and if you were the selector the team would al be having group hugs and positive reinforcement sessions eh :D In fact that squad would be about 125 players in total because anyone who wanted to play for NZ could just walk on in :D

I always find it amusing how, when idiots lose debates, they always try and twist an argument around.

Similar to the Tree hugging Prop..

IF...I was a selector,I certainly wouldnt be calling my team "powderpuffs" and "goats".I'd actually coach, and yes,use positive reinforcement when appropriate.

You on the other hand would sit in the stand yelling abuse and crying when they rebelled against you.

Get a life Gastro

Yip you're the best Arthur Wayne Graham Lydiard Bennett Henry. How dare I mention players who are not up to it before they got dropped :)

Take care.

If by some miracle the Wellington fitness fanatic and Jake the flake were available for World Cup selection then I think this would be our best lineup,

McCullum

Ryder

Guptill

Taylor

Styris

Williamson

Franklin

Oram

Vettori

Mills

McCullum N

I cant see the point in picking another specialist medium fast bowler as quite honestly they are not up to it. Open the bowling with Mills and get a few overs out of Oram,Franklin and Ryder at the other end. Whoever we pick is most likely going to go for between 6 and 7 an over so best to load up the batting
