For some stupid reason NZ'rs decide then its time for change no matter how well we are doing. Hard to fathom given recent results, but there is no doubt the Nats could have done better for more, and paid the price when the new Messiah came along....inexperienced unachiever but photogenic......social media triumphs over substance.... Had he gone Nats, then Joyce's full time job would have been to undermine Peters. bloke 1,232 Report post Posted March 7, 2018 To date she has not done alot which is not necessarily bad given that many of you Tories were predicting doom and gloom they were socilaists (when the Tories had the biggest socialist Prime Minister ever)and that they would borrow heaps when in fact its the Tories with a history for borrowing. Labour has a history for making significant legislation changes. The Lange Govenrnent was the most pro free enterprise Government in our history. The Clark Government introduced non smoking in pubs restaurants etc which to a non smoker like me was brilliant and we stayed out of conflict when the Yanks raced into Iraq and the stupid Tories wnated to follow the Yanks. Then they introduced Kiwi saver probably the most significant legislation in the last 20 years.. Meanwhile all the Tories have is Crusher legislation and her 3 cars. I can still see the photo of that stupid Tory Tart standing in her high hells on the first of 3 cars in total to be crushed So you tell me Ted what do the Tories stand for? . We'll pass the hat around RC so you can take a holiday Ted as you seem to have become very bitter and twisted about her, you are a really bad loser I'll leave the polls and the coalitions end results to judge that, as opposed to copy and pasting any news article that comes up that supports my stance. If she doesn't achieve she will be gone in less than 3 years.

We all know what happened, your princess became PM on the whim of one man, but the discussion has moved along to what is currently happening with the government of the day with Ardern as PM and on what they are achieving or not achieving and as Bloke has finally acknowledged "far call". You have been completely vacuous on this aspect and want to keep dragging us back to October last year. It's all about accountability now Hesi, promises have now become aspirations and back flips abound. N1MUE 1,877 Report post Posted March 7, 2018 They promised they'd make the first year of tertiary study "fees free". My daughter just started her first year of tertiary study and she doesn't have to rack up a student loan for that first year. Good effort getting that policy implemented so quickly! Would have thought that would known Bloke, at least you have a few more clues than Hesi. I would say that they stand for the best outcome for society where individual rights and civil liberties are paramount and the power of the government minimized. A system that respects and protects individual rights without intervention, enabling people to live their lives, act on their judgement, keep and use their property and pursue happiness and have the right to freedom. barryb 2,064 Report post Posted March 7, 2018 Hey Hesi what are you up to now Whitebaiting has finished? Maybe you could sign up as volunteer labour to help Twyford with Kiwibuild? I know it’s mushroom season and you will be out busy roaming illegally through hard working farmers paddocks, net a few trout whilst you are at it. Wander out at low tide and get a sack full of Paua , catch a shitload of undersized snapper, tend to your crops in a plantation? Has Jacinda changed the day you have to pop into WINZ and tell them you are still unfit for work due to your mystery illness? gary1

If he was interested at all in what Ardern had achieved so far, which of course he isn't, all he had to do was go to the Labour website, or in fact any news website that reported on the first 100 days. He's quite adept at that, he's even learning new long words through it As I commented to N1MUE, no point debating with him(so I don't), he made his mind up the day she was appointed leader of the Labour party, that she was not up to it, and it is just a matter of joining up the dots for 3 years. Quite sad that a grown man can be so parochial and myopic. As you would have gathered I'm all for her, but I'm prepared to give Bridges the benefit of the doubt to see how well he handles his new role. He is the new breed as is Ardern, and the voting public will decide whether they are up to it, the next poll will give an early indication
