3 more covid cases from India this time.    1 woman 'escaped" from lockdown.      Will only take one incident and we will get a relapse like (e.g.) Victoria has got.     Should we continue to handle this coming home situation in the present way or for the sake of saving lives should we just get tough!      Is humanitarianism of citizenship more or less important than human life?

I don't think humanitarianism of citizenship will be an issue , much of the world has opted for control /supression not elimination , that's because they recognize  elimination isn't an option which means we will be on the outer .

No tourisiam or students for us but our  people are able to head off to Briton / Europe on their OEs / holidays , Briton has just removed quarantene obligations on people entering the country from many countrys even though  people are still dieing in the UK , 85 ?? yesterday .

We have placed our selves in a difficult position , sooner or later we will have to rejoin the world , easing into that position will be challenging to say the least , a real political hot potatoe , perhaps a small out break would be welcome by some .. One things for sure we cann't  be a closed country forever .

(name JUST ONE of cindys main priority policies that has succeeded .)

Hes waiting for them to succeed at something , it will be a long wait but I supose they did manage to pass a law under urgency that allowed criminals/prisoners to vote or to make it possible for police to invade our homes without a warrant and I think any one who has a gun licence has also lost legal protections .

But road blocks up north and mass protests during lockdown are ok .

Quote : From The Standard.

At their best, National can be reasonably competent middle managers of the things that others have built. Showing the background of many of them.

It has been disastrous when they have tried to do any more than that.

Attacking other parties policies without a clue how to do any better, along with the "Born to Rule" sense of aristocratic entitlement, the totally callous attitude to anyone "not in our class old boy", and their large dose of Dunning Kruger, gives all of us a "Moral obligation" to keep them away from any positions of power for as long as possible.

OR ..

National has NEVER had a vision for the future of NZ, it has always been about gaining power at any cost and constructing policies that are heavily slanted towards benefiting their electoral donors.

As history shows quite emphatically, NZ has never been in a better position on any metric after any term of a National Govt.

Jack , stay away from the standard it's total left wing propaganda , worthless garbage .

Gaining power at any cost , the last election result showed who wanted to govern at any cost . Peters gets 3 billion and comrade cindy gets to do as she is told , all of her priority policys have been destroyed by peters , she hasn't had one of her pet projects succeed .

Now lets get real , former labour ministers either struggle for work or become Mayors , goff , dalziel , chadwick etc etc , plenty more but why waste time on that .

Former National ministers , lets start with the most recent , Key , international co director in charge of billions , English same ,  Chris Finlayson owns legal firm , Nathan Guy owns huge dairy business , Simon Power west pac CEO , just scratching the surface  but as you can see the Nats have a long history of having competant people involved with the National Party .

We are still waiting with bated breath.

Clean water is the birth-right of all of us, and vital to our continued prosperity. Our rivers and lakes are a taonga of huge significance to Māori, a favourite place of recreation for New Zealanders. Water underpins our agriculture.

Labour will:

  • Restore our rivers and lakes to a truly swimmable state within a generation
  • Help farmers and other owners of waterways with fencing and riparian planting through our Ready for Work programme
  • Give the regional councils the resources to clean up their waterways through a water royalty.

Because of the Bullshit(NO FREEDOM OF CHOICE) they have been fed their choice is flawed.

Once indoctrinated they bar freedom of choice.

Jack , please the question was what has comrade achieved , what policy success has she had , we know reducing  child poverty was her personal goal but it's doubled FAIL .

As for labour WILL  , that's just political bullshit and another complete failure .

"Almost 40 beaches in Auckland have been deemed "high risk" after weekend rain.

According to Auckland Council's Safeswim database, 39 city spots posed the threat of causing illness from swimming.

The warnings came after a Sunday filled with rain for the city and on Sunday night, a black alert, indicating a very high risk of illness from swimming, was issued for the North Shore's Castor Bay. High levels of E coli can cause severe abdominal cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting.

The farmers have been working on cleaning up streams for the last few years with real success but comrade cindy efforts are a dismal failure . The regional councils are doing just fine it's comrade cindys big citys that are a real problem but up until recently farmer bashing has been a political tool used by labour .

Jack this is the worst government in NZ history and you can't point to one main policy success .
