So surely this is also a case for the RIU as well

What does the RIU have to do with Glenda and the national party?

What Glenda did was not illegal?

The RIU are useless. Glenda is on the board.

She cant even discipline Godber

Surely if found that she has perverted the course of justice the RIU has the ability to have her position with the board reviewed as not a fit person to be leading the industry?

Fuck no, quite the opposite, it's an essential part of the qualifying criteria for head office that you can hide in the shadow of a corkscrew, mind you with Glenda it'd be quite some corkscrew

To add to your point it also stops intelligent people with the correct credentials working for or in governance roles at such a body when they see the nonsense that perpetually emanates from it

Here's a solution.

If a loser in a suit wants to work at head office they should have to prove they're competent by first riding a couple work, or at least tack a shoe on one.

Conversely if a member of the real racing fraternity ( who put on the show ) want to transition to head office they need to prove they can eat three sausage rolls and drink a bottle of Pinot.

It's all about credibility.
