No, just dodging the ridiculously long trip through Auckland's traffic nightmare which must weigh heavily on horse fitness and owner's pockets. Time to boycott the meetings up there and let the Logan team race each other for a chocolate fish on the beach. Midget 4,489 Report post Posted May 19, 2017 No, it's an acknowledgement that the ( ex ) swamp is finally a viable racing surface and that you can now run there without requiring scales, fins, webbed feet, or fear of injury and/or unreasonable disadvantage. Nerula 1,402 Report post Posted May 19, 2017 Its an interesting future they have as well. The directors wanted to sell a parcel of land for millions but were voted down by the members when wise heads said no let us do the development of a BIG box development Fortunately the wise heads know what they are doing and in time the club will have a big earner - all going well. Then the club which was heading for broke will be able to serve Racing and the community better
