Looks like the GERS have 2 matches possibly wrapped up, but can still go any way in the other 3.

Gordy could be the man that saves the REDS

Maybe Hesi - maybe but I am pretty confident with 2 of my last 4

To win the Gers need:

Air Align or Onerous to win for Casper; or

Here to There to win for Tom: or

Tried and Tired or Schism (paying $4.20 or more)  to win for Maria  (Schism and T&T quinella would be enough if Schism's dividend below $4.20)

Great finish coming up and all the best to both teams - I'm just off to the TAB to put all I've got on Schism to keep that dividend down.

Grand Final:  Race 10 - Caulfield R9

2nd - 11 Onerous Q: $12.70

Reds vs Pretend Gers
3 Reds $651.40

Everyone but Ian & Casper on the winner in the last. Best bets for Maria, Gordy and Tom while John and TC with the quinella. Reds hang on for a 3-2 win despite an inferior aggregate. Thanks to the Pretend Gers for a great match - incredibly close/tense and we were lucky to hold on.

Thanks to Sarah, Lloyd , Gordy and John for being such fantastic team-mates and tipsters.  You all put up great records despite feeling obliged to pick some of my dreadful tips throughout the comp.

and an extra special thanks to Peter J - love this competition and truly appreciate the huge amount of effort that you put into it!!

Firstly congratulations to TC and his champion teammates $2-20 today and $1-70 against the Dons PJ said you Guys would need luck and you got it

But when you're as consistent as you guys and gal have shown you deserve that little bit of luck go your way and the Reds won this on it's merits

Im not a fan off the 1-8 system but in the last two comps it has proven worthy

In the summer comp teams 1-4 played the semifinals and in this comp teams 1-2-3 and 5 played the semifinals with teams 1 and 2 playing the final with the superiority of the Reds shining through ice again well done Reds

Big thanks to my teammates Maria Casper Kay and Tom great result finishing second beaten by a very good outfit

Finally thanks PJ your da man hope you enjoyed watching the Gunners

Cheers

Hi everyone ! At the stadium waiting for the game to start with Sarah and Bryn.

Followed the final few races in the St. George pub in Lidcombe. What a thrilling climax! Sarah was so nervous she couldn't even watch the final race at Caulfield.

She had one of her best days but lost her match with Ian despite being her team's top scorer. Posting Friday night didn't affect her form one bit even without markets showing faves !

A big thanks to John and Maria for standing in with updates.

My best hope for these comps is for the top two sides to make the final and for it to go down to the wire - mission accomplished!

Congrats to The Reds!

Top team selection and brilliant form plus a dash of luck when it was needed.

Thanks everyone for playing.

Cheers

PJ
