Naki 13 Report post Posted April 28, 2017 I'm looking at serving a mare that suffered a bleeding attack whilst she raced. I've been trying to source some information on ways to minimise it getting passed on. Are there any local sire lines that I should stay away from? Most of the information I can find is from a South African study. Has anyone had any experience with this? any help would be greatly appreciated Pam Robson and Cubes
Breeder 599 Report post Posted April 28, 2017 A similar question was asked on Thoroughbred Village http://forum.thoroughbredvillage.com.au/breeding-mares-who-have-bled-when-raced_topic20031.html The study referred to in this discussion maybe the same one you already have http://www.pedigreequery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30828 Here is piece suggesting it is not genetic ( you have go a fair way down the article to find this "conclusion") http://racehorseherbal.net/eiph.html gary1
