Jimmy Gibbs rides in this pic on Cretan as he crossed his legs before landing. Cretan did this leg crossing from an early age as a hurdler. Notice the disks on the bridle that matched the saddle cloth number. Jim Gibbs was never phased by this. He had a huge mortgage on a Burwood Road property Cretan helped Jimmy out.
