MrBigStuff 398 Report post Posted February 11, 2017 Sad to see her winning run come to an end, was the 2000m a bridge to far or just fair and squarely beaten? great filly however.

pete 492 Report post Posted February 11, 2017 Maybe just went to the well one too many times? Been up for a while and had a gutbuster at Ellerslie. They aren't machines. ADM, sir1galivant, N1MUE and 4 others
Insider 3,960 Report post Posted February 11, 2017 Disagree. She has been handled beautifully. Incidentally all of the form came out of the Desert Gold Stakes (Trentham) not Ellerslie or other races in the North so the travel didn't hurt them. gubellini
pete 492 Report post Posted February 11, 2017 Disagree. Looked flat and didn't wind up like she normally does. We all have our opinions though which is fine. Be interesting to see what they do next. If she was mine (yeah dream on), she'd be straight into a paddock. Turny

mckenzie 608 Report post Posted February 12, 2017 I haven't seen many of her races, but the jockey seemed to have to push her up a few times during the race as if she wasn't really travelling. Does she always race like that?
Grant R 348 Report post Posted February 14, 2017 As documented she is out in the paddock having a spell with a plan in place for where she is going to go next. Richie has pulled her out of the Oaks and Derby believing at this stage that 2000 or more is a step to far early in her career. They had to try she was showing she maybe able to do it but these things happen. I notice that Richie has been at the Inglis sales in Sydney and picked up 3 well bred yearlings at what i would say very good prices one especially he couldn't pass up was a Foxwedge filly for approximately half the price he paid for Velope Veloche so it will be interesting to see how she goes i am one who will follow with interest gubellini, hedley and vanturk1
