scooby3051 10,869 Report post Posted January 31, 2017 Say what you like but that was a decent thing David Ellis did to make sure the final lot Joe Walls auctioned was a sale... thought it was a nice gesture. Enjoy your retirement Joe Walls thanks for the years of great auctioneering. What? "nice gesture" to run up the price. Not suggesting there was collusion to pass the reserve are you Scooby. If DE had got landed with it I am sure there would have been deals within deals to ameliorate his predicament if he did not actually want the horse. Guest 2Admin2 Report post Posted February 1, 2017 Is Joe Walls not auctioning during the rest of the sale?
Kane T 44 Report post Posted February 1, 2017 It was a nice gesture but did he have to make a scene and tell everyone about it and then interrupt Joe's speech by telling all and sundry that yes I have bought it. He does do a lot for the industry but he makes sure everyone knows about it. He's a showman.
