Koozer 7 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 Loosi Filipo is just another example of the type of ordinary citizen that Rugby Union produces. Year after year we see the likes of Filopi assaulting strangers on the street and causing harm to innocent strangers. Rugby Union could take a leave out of Rugby League's book on how to create systems that lead to better behaviour by players. SMD is rife 211 Report post Posted September 28, 2016 Listen up Koozer, rugby yawnion is still the GGOA. Filipo submitted his CV to the Warriors and was turned away until he had a bit more street sense.....or was that beating more people in the street senseless. Look at all the trouble Rugby Union has with it's players once they get on the turps. Keith Murdoch, ...the list goes on. Realist1 13 Report post Posted September 29, 2016 Koozer, you need to check yaself in. This was a crime at the extreme end of the scale. Sure ya get the odd boozy ones every so often on a night out, Zac Guildford etc but it's hardly every man and his dog. Look at League then look at Union, then look at League again and check yaself in.

Perhaps if someone stumped on your head after knocking seven shades of shit out of you then you'd be reluctant to accept a false apology. You sound like a typical rugby rah rah kind of guy. How about George Moala - assault with intent to injure. Julian Severe - assault on a female. Their not at the extreme end of the scale???!!! Rugby players have always been worst behaved than league players - you can't believe everything you read in the media.
Koozer 7 Report post Posted September 30, 2016 3 hours ago, Memphis2 said: Keith Murdoch circa 1973 long time between drinks Doesn't matter. The NZ Rugby Union made sure they got Murdoch out of the country before he got sent to jail for almost killing the guy he hit...and then they tried to make it sound like Murdoch went missing without them knowing about it. Biggest lie ever told. They had already set him up with a job in the Northern Territory working in the sugar cane fields which is where he ended up. There are other sports in New Zealand that have their issues like softball, cycling and ten pin bowling.

But as the NRL Integrity unit have always said. Allegations guilty or not, still looks bad for the game. The Police don't open formal investigations if there is next to no evidence do they? The long and short of it Koozer is that League players bring the game into disrepute far more often than Union.

All those examples you have quoted happened years ago so your argument is out of date. Whereas Filopi has been running around Wellington stomping on the heads of innocent citizens only this year.
